Mar 19, 2014 Consisting of single-part, 100% solids, thermally conductive, silicone grease, Heat-Away™ 640 is used in heat transfer applications from -60 to 550°F. Product is formulated as thick paste that will not flow after application and maintains stable viscosity over entire temperature range. With thermal conductivity of 4.68 W/m-K, grease optimizes thermal transfer between heaters and process vessels and various heat sinks used in heat exchangers in electrical and electronic applications.

Jan 31, 2014 Formulated using high purity silver flake, Aremco-Bond™ 556-HTHC is used for microelectronic chip bonding, semiconductor die-attach, hybrid packaging, and other electrical/electronic assembly applications. Two-part, electrically and thermally conductive adhesive exhibits low volume resistivity of less than 0.0001 Ω-cm at room temperature and thermal conductivity of 2.2 W/m-°K. Product offers tensile shear strength of 1,700 psi, Shore D hardness of 90, and viscosity range of 40,000–45,000 cP.

Nov 25, 2013 Used for bonding, potting, tooling, and molding, Aremco-Bond™ 805 adheres to high-temperature plastics, glass, ceramic, and high-expansion metals. This 2-component, 100% solids, aluminum-filled epoxy cures at room temperature in 24 hr with final cure at 200°F in 2 hr. Cured material exhibits thermal conductivity of 12.5 Btu-in/hr-ft²-°F and dielectric strength of 50 V/mil. Respective tensile shear and flexural strengths are 1,800 and 15,500 psi, and Shore D Hardness is 87.

Oct 16, 2013 Applied in 4.0 mil wet film thickness that dries to 2.0 mils, Corr-Paint™ CP2010 provides corrosion resistance on copper and steel components and structures exposed to oxidation and corrosive atmospheres up to 400°F. Single-part, aluminum-rich formula dries and cures at room temperature to hard, non-porous, abrasion-resistant surface. With viscosity of 300-600 cP and specific gravity of 1.08 g/cc, product is also resistant to wide range of acids, bases, fuels, and solvents.

Sep 26, 2013 Adhering to graphite, ceramic cloth, and fiberboard, Pyro-Paint™ 634-AS is used to bond, coat, and seal graphite and refractory materials used in molten metal fluid handling components and structures in foundry applications to 2,300°F. Alumina-silica, fiber-reinforced, ceramic coating also prevents wear and oxidation of graphite impellers at melt line in handling of molten aluminum. Product is formulated with solids content of 61.2% by weight and 63.3% by volume to 400–700 cP viscosity range.

Sep 13, 2013 Applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying, Aremco-Seal™ 617 single-part, water-based, glass coating is used to produce hermetic seals in porous ceramics and refractories in electrical and high-vacuum applications. Cure is accomplished by drying 200°F for 30 min, 350°F for 60 min, and final curing at 1,650°F for 3–5 min. Odorless sealant cleans up prior to curing with warm water and does not contain any VOCs. No outgassing will occur upon curing or during operation.

Aug 27, 2013 Demonstrating emissivity greater than 0.90 at temperatures to 2,500°F, HiE-Coat™ 840-C helps combustion chambers, ovens, and furnaces distribute heat uniformly. Jet-black, water-based ceramic coating is applied to ceramic and refractory surfaces using sponge brush, roller, or conventional spray equipment. Curing is accomplished in operation or by heating for 1–2 hours at 200°F. Odorless and water-soluble, HiE-Coat™ 840-C contains no VOCs and will not outgas upon curing or during operation.

Jul 31, 2013 Ceramacast™ 576N large-grain, alumina-filled, ceramic compound exhibits temperature resistance to 3000°F, dielectric strength of 150 V/mil, and compressive strength of 10,200 psi. Resistant to moisture and chemicals, compound is supplied in powder form and mixed in ratio of 100 parts powder to 12–14 parts water by weight. It sets in 16 hr at room temperature or 1–2 hr at 200°F, and cured material exhibits porosity of less than 2% and shrink rate of less than 0.3% at 1000°F.

Jul 23, 2013 Bonding to cast iron, steel, and stainless steel, Pyro-Putty® 653 withstands continuous operating temperatures and rigorous thermal cycling to 2,000°F. Inorganic, single part, ceramic and metal filled paste can be applied to both horizontal and vertical surfaces in cross-sections up to ½ in. thick. Water-dispersible, environmentally safe, and resistant too most fuels, solvents, and other corrosives, chemically inert compound is suited for sealing cast steel casings, housings, pipes, and flanges.

May 21, 2013 Ceramabond™ 671 single part, water-dispersible, aluminum oxide filled adhesive and coating system is used to assemble thermocouple housings in boiler, furnace, and stack applications. It features torque strength of 57.0 lb-ft, dielectric strength of 182 V/mil at room temperature, and coefficient of thermal expansion of 4.3 ppm/°F. Used with ceramic and non-ceramic substrates, product dries at room temperature and cures in 2-4 hr at 200°F. It comes in pint, quart, gallon, and 5 gal pails.
