Feb 18, 2013 Made with DIN length shank for extra reach, MultiTAP-Form is suitable for use with carbon steel, steel alloys, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and bronze. TiN coated high-speed steel tap features short chamfer lead of 1.5–2 pitch, which is suited for bottom tapping. Lubrication grooves allow coolant flow-to-form action for holes requiring long thread length. Taps are available for UNC or UNF threads, from #4-40 to 3/8-24 in. sizes and  metric sizes from M4 x 0.7 to M10 x 1.5.

Nov 16, 2012 Featuring variable exchangeable transfer elements and length adjustment screws, Softsynchro® HD and MQL Modular System makes it possible for same tool holder body to be used for minimal quantity lubricant (MQL) or HSK coolant applications. Heli-coil mechanism compensates for axial movement that occurs during tightening of collet nut, preventing unwanted displacement and potential damage to tap or MQL adjusting screw. Modular bodies are available in sizes KSN1 ER20 and KSN3 ER32.

Oct 25, 2012 Suited for tap sizes M16–M56 and ANSI sizes to 1 ¾ in., Softsynchro® KSN5 Series uses ER50GB collet and is also available with integral shank CAT50 or HSK100A. Softsynchro® KSN6 Series, designed for M24–M76 sizes, uses Emuge HE2 large QC Tap Adapters. Both feature coolant-through capability up to 50 bar and have 2 mm of tension and compression for rigid tapping cycles. Holders support tapping operations in components used in oil, power generation, and wind turbine applications.

May 24, 2012 NPT Taper Pipe Taps have flute with variable skip tooth geometry that optimizes chip flow and clearance while also lowering tapping torque. Design accommodates materials that produce long, stringy chip formations. Constructed of premium high speed steel and PVD coated for extended life, tools come in pipe sizes 1/16-1 in. NPT and in 2 overall lengths: standard ANSI length, and longer DIN length that allows for additional reach, chip clearance, and coolant delivery.

Oct 18, 2011 Ground with eccentrically relieved threads that feature full pitch diameter relief, Rekord DZ Series eliminates formation of continuous chips that occur when tapping carbon steels, alloy steels, and austenitic stainless steels. Cutting face geometry and spiral flute form combine to affect chip flow, chip curl, and chip length. Ground with 2BX increased pitch diameter, taps also feature TIN surface treatment and can be used in horizontal/vertical machining.
