Dual Stiffness Isolation Mount suits moving load applications.

Dual Stiffness Isolation Mount suits moving load applications.

Kinetic Systems, Inc.    Boston, MA 02131
Jun 19, 2013 Offering alternative to active vibration isolation systems, Vibralevel DSM provides both active damping and vibration isolation. Unit eliminates platform tilt by activating stiff mode when load undergoes aggressive move. On signal from machine controller, mount transitions from softer vibration isolation system to stiffer support platform within 500 ms. When move is complete, system reverts to soft mode, providing vibration isolation required for accurate placement or inspection.

May 27, 2011 Offered with up to 4 x 8 ft table and gross load capacities to 2,000 lb, MK52 optical table isolation support system may be used where external vibrations adversely affect operation of sensitive equipment. Horizontal isolation is provided by beam columns connected in series with vertical-motion isolator. When adjusted to ½ Hz natural frequency, system achieves 93% isolation efficiency at 2 Hz, 99% at 5 Hz, and 99.7% at 10 Hz. Tables are constructed with plated-steel honeycomb core.

Jun 28, 2010 Designed to support KSI breadboards and optical tables, 500AP Series includes trifilar and quadfilar leg stands that respectively support 500-2,000 lb and 250-1,000 lb loads. Products are available individually as modular mounts or as leg stands with braces and casters. Class 100 cleanroom series offers natural frequencies of 1.25 Hz along horizontal axis and 1.50 Hz along vertical and can achieve isolation efficiencies of 98% (horizontal) and 95% (vertical) at 10 Hz and above.

Kinetic Systems, Inc.    Boston, MA 02131
Jun 02, 2010 Suitable for production, testing, or research in optics field, Mobile Darkbox Enclosures block all ambient light and can be produced to customer-specific requirements. Units feature sliding or fixed panels on all 4 sides, and can be large enough to incorporate optical tables, breadboards, or workstations. Offered with multiple tiers of shelving, boxes are available with heating and air conditioning, electrical connections, laser ports, and/or computer network connections.

May 04, 2010 Approximately 8 ft high with 3 x 6, 4 x 8, or 8 x 8 ft footprint, Mobile Environmental Enclosures are equipped with cleanroom curtains on all 4 sides and multi-speed blowers on roof to maintain positive, downward, pressurized airflow, cleaned using HEPA filters. Inside can be configured for workstation or optical table with electrical outlets, lighting, and computer network connections. Sides are gusseted for strength, and floor-leveling pads are provided.

Vibration Surveys assess sensitive equipment needs.

Kinetic Systems, Inc.    Boston, MA 02131
Oct 01, 2007 Conducted by Kinetic Systems engineers, on-site surveys ascertain potentially damaging vibration amplitudes and frequencies in new buildings or existing facilities to determine whether or not vibration control is required. Tools measure vertical and horizontal vibrations over required frequency range and average data over time. Further analysis takes into account weights, footprints, centers of gravity, and expected uses of devices to be protected as well as max allowable vibration.

Jun 06, 2007 Available in 4 standard configurations, breadboards provide flat, stable surface for mounting or assembling lasers/small optical systems, prototyping, and precise inspections. Each configuration features natural frequency, nominal broadband damping and flatness of ±0.004 in. over 24 x 24 in. area. Depending on series, nonmagnetic and ferromagnetic products feature extruded aluminum or honeycomb structural cores and anodized aluminum or stainless steel skins.
