May 23, 2013 Without requiring back up pad, Rex-Cut® Type 27 Max Flex Cotton Fiber Wheels are used for blending and finishing flat and contoured stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum surfaces in one step. Width of surface contact area optimizes blending control and uniform finish. Used at 45° angle for increased cutting and at 30° angle for smoother finishing, wheels feature multiple cotton fiber layers, impregnated with aluminum oxide grains, pressed and bonded together.

Non-woven cotton fiber construction constantly exposes fresh abrasives as work progresses, and coarse, medium, and fine grits are available for use at speeds to 30,000 rpm. Wheels come in 2, 3, 4, and 6 in. dia as well as 1/8, ¼, and ½ in. thicknesses and are suitable for use on stainless steel, exotic metals, and aluminum.

While Rex-Cut SS Tube Satin Finish Kit No. 749000 produces No. 4 Finish (food grade), Rex-Cut’s SS Tube Polish Kit No. 749001 produces highly reflective No. 7 Finish. Both kits include 4 ½ x 7/8 in. Fusion medium disc and 4 ½ x 7/8 in. Unitized 25FN disc. Additional discs are also included.

SS Tube Satin Finish Kit #749000 produces No. 4 food grade finish and includes 4½ x 7/8 in. medium and unitized 25FN discs, and 1½ x 23 in. Tex-Belt AO fine. May 16, 2011 Made of cotton fiber impregnated with abrasives, Smooth Touch(TM) Deburring, Blending, and Finishing Wheels run smoothly and will not change geometry of pipe threads. Wheels are available in 2, 3, 4, and 6 in. diameters measuring 1/8, ¼, or ½ in. thick with coarse, medium, or fine grits. They are suited for cleaning oil field pipe threads made of stainless steel, Inconel, and other super-hard alloys, as well as iron and aluminum.

Nov 02, 2010 Made with ceramic abrasive grains bonded to treated material that is layered and stacked, Rex-Cut® Sigma Ceramic Flap Discs are self-sharpening and require minimal pressure. Type 29 discs are available in 4½, 5, and 7 in. dia x 7/8 in. sizes, as well as 36 and 60 grit versions, with or without hubs and 5/8-11 adapters. Suited for fabrication shops, discs provide aggressive stock removal with smooth operator control on steel, stainless steel, and exotics.

Aug 03, 2010 Made from non-woven synthetic that is compressed, bonded, and impregnated with abrasives, Mebabrite(TM) mounted points are designed for light deburring, blending, and polishing. They feature medium/fine grits and soft/hard densities for smooth, chatter-free operation on precision machined and cast parts without changing their geometry. Points are available in over 150 industry standard A, B, and W shapes with 1/8 and ¼ in. shanks, in aluminum oxide and silicon carbide abrasives.

Suited for die- and angle-grinders, units come in sizes from 4-7 in. dia. Applications include cutting tube, pipe, rails, bar stock, sheet, and trimming castings.
