Mar 07, 2014 Able to be software-configured for RF performance in 2,400–2,500 MHz region or for wide tuning over 70 MHz to 6 GHz range, AD-FMCOMMS4-EBZ includes AD9364 RF Transceiver IC in 1 x 1 SDR rapid prototyping FMC module. Built around AD9361 RF transceiver on 2 X 2 SDR rapid prototyping module, AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ transceiver FMC module is engineered for 70 MHz to 6 GHz wideband tuning applications. Both modules include all HDL code and device drivers needed to get SDR platform up and running.

A/D Converters support multi-channel data acquisition.

Jan 20, 2014 Integrating 16 channels into single package, Model AD9249 dissipates 58 mW of power per channel at 65 MSPS, while 8-channel Model ADS9681 dissipates 110 mW per channel at 125 MSPS. Both 14-bit units are available in 10 x 10 mm package with on-chip sample-and-hold circuit. DACs achieve spurious free dynamic range greater than 90 dBc and signal-to-noise ratio of 74 dBFS or better. Both can be used with data clock outputs that operate at frequencies up to 500 MHz and 455 MHz, respectively.

Meter-on-a-Chip supports portable health applications.

Model ADL5506, offering complete subsystem for measurement of RF signals in wireless terminal devices, features typical dynamic range of 45–0 dBm and frequency range from 30 MHz to 4.5 GHz.

Nov 20, 2013 Housed in 16-lead QSOP package, ADuM144x iCoupler® Quad Channel Digital Isolators come in 3 channel configurations with 1-minute isolation safety rating of 2.5 kV rms and operating voltage range of 2.25–3.6 V. Quiescent power supply current at 2.5 V is less than 5 µA per channel, and power supply current at 2 Mbps is less than 380 µA per channel. With power saving mode, current levels can be reduced to 0.1 µA per channel, resulting in 1 µW of total power for entire isolator.

Regulators achieve output-noise spectral density of 1.4 nV/rtHz from 10 kHz to 1 MHz, minimizing VCO phase noise in point-to-point microwave radios, satellite communications, defense electronics, and other wideband applications. Additionally, user-adjustable CBYP can reduce low frequency 1/f noise (8 nV/rtHz at 100 Hz) for precision analog front-end measurement systems.

This 18-bit PulSAR® ADC also has noise floor of 22.4 nV/√Hz relative to FS input. Available in same package, AD7961 is 16-bit PulSAR ADC that achieves SNR performance of 95.5 dB and linearity of ±0.2 LSB INL at 5 MSPS throughput. Both include LVDS interface that transfers data off chip at speeds to 300 MHz.

Broadband RF Gain Blocks operate over 30 MHz to 6 GHz range.

Class 1C (+1.5 kV ESD)-rated products integrate on-chip bias circuit and are internally matched to 50Ω at input and output. Depending on model, OIP3 values range from 34.9–38.5 dBm and P1dB noise figures range from 17.6–21.0. Only external components required are coupling/decoupling capacitors and DC bias inductor.
