Jun 22, 2012 Using system's existing input power signals and converting analog dimming signal used for inverter into PWM signal, Smart Bridge(TM) Module powers LED backlight driver without additional modifications. Module converts Power, Ground, Enable, and Control signals and mates directly to LCD via small harness. Board has max current of 320 mA and can power up to 8 LED strings at max of 4 on each side. Measuring 1.115 x 4.585 in., SFD2E Series powers LED BLUs in LCDs from 10.4-24 in. diagonal, and can drive up to 8 LED strings from one output at max current of 480 mA. Both feature external PWM dimming to 500:1.

Slim 100 W units are available in wide range of constant voltage and constant current models. Offered in custom versions, units have UL8750 and CE approvals and rating of IP67. Applications include cove and architectural lighting, and parking and street lights.

Feb 25, 2010 Measuring only 2.782 x 0.96 in., 5 mm high Smart Force(TM) SFDMD Series LED driver modules have input voltage range of 3-20 V, and suit applications in medical patient monitors, POS, kiosk, ATM, gaming and GPS displays. Units can be modified to work from 3.3, 5 or 12 V input voltage, with LED string voltage of up to 38.5 V and output current drive of 30 mA x 6 strings. PWM dimming feature can generate dimming ratio of up to 255:1 via external 0-5 V analog voltage.

They feature 6 mm profile, onboard lamp current regulation, strike voltages to 2,400 Vrms, and operating temperature range of -20 to 85║C. RoHS compliant units also offer onboard dimming, open lamp detection, and are compatible with all OEM LCDs.

They feature universal input of 85-265 V, at 50 or 60 Hz, power factor correction of greater than 0.9, constant current with extremely low ripple, 86% efficiency, and MTBF of more than 50,000 hr. Triac dimming, color temperature regulation, and ambient light control are also incorporated into units, which target luminaires with solid state lighting.
