Sep 26, 2014 Lightweight and portable, CBS ArcSafe RSA-161A is designed for 3 in. handle versions of Schneider Class 9421 Type L circuit breaker mechanisms, which operate circuit breakers or interrupters from 75–250 A at up to 600 V. Actuator allows technicians to safely operate breakers while stationed outside of arc-flash hazard boundary without any modification to breaker. When accompanied by CBS ArcSafe RSO control unit, RSA-161A eliminates all hazardous manual contact with gear during operation.

Products let technicians safely close and open breakers while stationed outside of arc-flash hazard boundary without any modification to breaker. Optional features include radio remote with range of up to 300 ft, wired or wireless video camera system with LCD monitor for remote viewing, and custom-fit rugged storage case.

Tooling works with all General Electric GE AK-1-25 breakers operating on any voltage, with current ratings up to 600 A, and up to 4-high configuration. Racking solution attaches to enclosure via included magnets.

When accompanied by CBS ArcSafe® Remote Switch Operator (RSO) control unit, RSA-12A provides remote CHARGE, CLOSE, and OPEN operation from up to 300 ft away from equipment. Unit attaches to enclosure using magnets and offers multiple options.
