Electrasil-3A bonds PCB ground plane with heat sink for RF circuits and electromagnetic shielding applications. Silicone-based elastomeric interface is suitable for bonding surfaces that have widely dissimilar values of CTE. Electrasil-3A can be supplied as bonding sheets of any uniform thickness starting from 3 mils and higher, or as putty material that can fill circuitry with complex shapes that are not necessarily planar.

Electrasil-3 utilizes thin film or screen printed paste to efficiently transfer heat from ground plane of PCB to heat sink, so that electronic components do not heat up while functioning. Bonding PCB to heat sink, silicone-based elastomer is thermally and electrically conductive, and also has high bond strength and resistance to thermal shock.
