Turbine has gearless drive train design with synchronous generator, excited by permanent magnets. Measuring 6.8 m in length and 4.2 m in diameter, nacelle can be transported using standard vehicles. Turbine has half the parts of conventional geared turbine and less than half the number of moving parts, resulting in minimal need for maintenance.
