Sep 28, 2012 Intended for medical product designers and manufacturers, SEBS-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) of CLR series includes grades with hardnesses from 15–75 Shore A as well as 2 grades, CLR65 and CLR75, that are oil-free. Odorless TPEs utilize FDA-compliant materials exhibit tear resistance, can be color tinted, and can be extruded or injection molded. Applications include grips for medical and dental utensils as well as knobs and buttons for medical equipment.

Products do not require drying and are suitable for applications that require rubber-like properties, impact resistance, chemical resistance, and colorability. Typical uses include soft touch knobs and levers, electronic component housings, and grips for tools, utensils, medical instruments, and appliances.

Feb 25, 2011 Featuring Shore 40A hardness, Elastocon STK40BX produces dry touch ergonomics with non-gloss, matte surface finish. Thermoplastic elastomer can be overmolded onto PC, ABS, PC/ABS, acrylic, HIPS, copolyester, and various grades of polyamide. It is UV stable, non-toxic, and both latex and phthalate-free. Available in 50 lb bag quantities, TPE can be injection molded as well as extruded or blow molded and is suited for product protection applications.

Mar 31, 2010 Available in 65 and 75 Shore A hardnesses, Elastocon® CLR Series transparent thermoplastic elastomers are phthalate- and plasticizer-free, and are FDA compliant. They offer non-blooming high strength properties, high degree of softness, clamp resilience, and resistance to kinking and necking. Available in ready-to-use pellets in 1,000 lb or as concentrates, products are suited for applications requiring UV stability. Selected grades can be overmolded onto polypropylene.

Feb 05, 2010 By adhering to PC/ABS compounds, Elastocon STK Series Styrenic TPEs provide added protection as well as sound and vibration dampening for variety of consumer and industrial end products. STK 40 and STK 60 offer hardness of 40 and 60 Shore A, respectively, giving products soft touch and feel. In addition to overmolding or coextrusion applications, TPE grades can be extruded, blow molded, or compounded. All TPEs are free from latex and RoHS compliant.
