System features swiveling wheel head with 400 x 50 mm left wheel and 350 x 50 mm right wheel. Belt-driven internal grinding system is ready to accept optional internal spindle. Apr 16, 2013 Suited for large, heavy parts, Kellenberger® Kel-Varia CNC-controlled Machines have direct-drive workhead with infinitely variable spindle speed from 1–500 rpm and max weight capacity of 750 Nm/660 lb. Torque drive allows parts to be accelerated and braked with zero backlash during bidirectional movements. C-axis operation supports grinding of grooves and satellite/centering bores, while swiveling hydrostatic B-axis provides simultaneous interpolation of X, Z, and B axes with  0.00002° resolution.

Apr 10, 2013 With respective X/Y/Z travels of 11.8 x 15.6 x 16.9 in. and travels of 20 x 24 x 20 in., GX 250 5F and GXR 320 5F Bridgeport 5-Face (4+1) VMCs feature integrated 5-axis rotary table, heavy-duty linear guideways, and oversized double-nut ballscrews. Fanuc 0i-D control, also included, enables use of 4 simultaneous axes plus one axis for positioning only. While GX 250 5F offers rapid traverse of 1,181 ipm on X/Y/Z axes, GXR 320 5F offers 1,693 ipm on X/Y axes and 1,417 ipm on Z axis.

Mar 12, 2013 With collet chucks that mount directly to machine spindle, 80 mm FlexC™ vulcanized collet system offers accuracy within .0004 in. TIR for style A and .0008 in. TIR for style DL. Collet head has gripping range of ±.020 in. of its nominal size to allow for variation in bar stock without changing collet. Available in round and hex smooth/serrated, square smooth, emergency, and S-master styles, collets are inserted and removed with manual compression wrench for changeover in less than 10 sec.

Mar 16, 2011 Equipped with collet-ready 16C spindle, 210 mm Model GD210LP accepts standard 16C collets, step chucks, Sure-Grip® expanding collets, and custom collets with optional collet closer. Stiffness and rigidity are achieved with large diameter bearings and fail-safe clamp systems, allowing part weights up to 220 lb. With up to 233 lb-ft clamping torque, table handles off-center drilling, cross-axis milling, and other high-force cutting applications with ±15 arc-sec accuracy.
