Class-G Headphone Amps suit portable audio applications.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Jul 22, 2008 Suited for power-sensitive applications with headphone output, LDS9505 and LDS9504 incorporate Gmax(TM) technology for Class-G amplification and offer 5.5 mW/channel power dissipation to promote battery run-time. Adaptive Rail Amplifier and other technologies eliminate pop and click as well as zipper-noise concerns. Requiring 4 mW quiescent power, standalone products are capable of up to 63 mW in single-ended stereo and 106 mW in mono BTL output, with SNR of 102 dB.

Programmable Touch Controllers incorporate haptics driver.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Jul 22, 2008 PureTouch(TM) LDS6010 and LDS6040 integrate haptics driver, designed to heighten responsiveness of tactile effects, for use with mobile phone touch-input controls. Driver supports ERM (eccentric rotating mass) and LRA (linear resonant actuator) vibration motors. Compatible with Immersion Corporation VibeTonz® advanced haptic platform for mobile phones, controllers feature 15 touch sensor inputs, consume less than 200 µW in full power mode, and have 1.8 V operating voltage.

Capacitive Touch Controller ICs consume minimal power.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Jul 21, 2008 Optimized for operation down to 1.8 V, LDS6000 and LDS6020 consume less than 200 µW in full power mode. Former features 15 touch sensor inputs, while latter offers up to 13 and integrated keypad LED driver functionality. Both support various touch input types - buttons, sliders, scroll wheels - and provide update rates of 2 ms per sensor input with on-chip automatic calibration logic. SPI-compatible and I˛C-compatible interfaces are supported via GPIO and interrupt output.

TFT LCD Driver IC is designed for power conservation.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4117
Jun 19, 2007 With integrated PowerLite(TM) dynamic backlight control algorithm, LDS285 takes advantage of real-time calculations that determine optimal backlight level for each image. Algorithm, which also features ambient light sensing support, communicates seamlessly with system LED driver to conserve power in battery-powered mobile applications. This 16 million color QVGA TFT LCD driver IC is temperature compensated and offers programmable display features.

LED Driver features 1.33x-mode enabled charge pump.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4117
May 30, 2007 Targeted at mobile backlighting applications, Model LDS8861 supports up to 6 LEDs at max current of 32 mA each, enabling wide range of LED and brightness options for small and medium sized LCD module applications. Six LED channels are configured as 3 pairs of 2 matched channels, with each pair independently programmable from 0.25-32 mA through 1-wire interface. Compatible with input voltages ranging from 2.3-5.5 V, LDS8861 provides up to 92% efficiency.

Display Drivers provide video for mobile handsets.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4117
May 03, 2007 LDS194 65K color and LDS195 262K color STN LCD driver ICs incorporate controller, display RAM, on-chip oscillator, and temperature compensation for adjustment of VLCD and frame frequency to provide fine tuning of screen for optical visual performance. LDS195 supports 128 x 160 resolution displays, while LDS194 supports 98 x 70 and 98 x 64 resolution displays. Both devices implement mixed Pulse Width Modulation/Frame Rate Control architecture to facilitate video rendering.

LED Drivers address mobile applications.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4117
Feb 05, 2007 Supplied in 3 x 3 x 0.8 mm DFN package, LDS8841 controls intensity of backlight supplied to small and medium panel LCDs in mobile electronics applications. IC drives up to 4 LEDs at current levels to 31 mA each, and dimming control for all channels allows LED brightness to be reduced in 1 mA increments. Compatible with input voltages from 3-5.5 V at efficiency levels to 91%, product features 1x and 1.5x pump modes as well as soft start and current limiting functions.

OLED Driver IC enhances visual performance.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Oct 03, 2006 Model LDS522 65K color OLED driver IC with integrated controller supports 128 (RGB) x 68, 128 (RGB) x 36, and 96 (RGB) x 68 display resolutions. Integrating 139 kbits of full frame memory, on-chip oscillator, DC/DC converter, and temperature sensor, LDS522 SoC provides accurate color images for MP3 player and mobile phone sub-display applications. Two independent settings for RGB reference current enable device to make adjustments based on panel process variation and temperature changes.

LTPS Driver IC is used in mobile phone displays.

Leadis Technology, Inc.    Sunnyvale, CA 94085-4117
Sep 26, 2006 Model LDS331 262 K color QQVGA LTPS driver IC with integrated controller supports 132 (RGB) x 162, 128 (RGB) x 160, and 130 (RGB) x 130 display resolutions. It offers 3:1 multiplexing for efficient utilization of source outputs as well as 4 gamma curves and temperature compensation for accurate color rendering. With integration of 385 kbits full frame memory, driver relieves processor of continuous graphics data transmission for static picture display.
