Protective Vent suits large outdoor electronic enclosures.

Protective Vent suits large outdoor electronic enclosures.

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.    Elkton,, MD 21921
Jun 17, 2013 Specifically engineered for outdoor enclosures with volume in excess of 200 L, GORE® PolyVent XL enables internal pressure to remain equalized during changes in environmental temperatures, helping to prevent seal failure. Constructed of breathable membrane, IP69K-rated vent equalizes internal pressure by allowing air to flow freely into and out of housing at rate of 16 Lpm at 12 mbar. GORE® PolyVent XL simultaneously prevents liquid ingress at pressure of 0.3 bar for 60 sec.
Automotive Vents help protect powertrain components.

May 02, 2013 Series AVS 41, P/N VE2048, GORE® Automotive Vents equalize pressure, preventing contamination from water, dust, dirt, and automotive fluids in components such as transmissions, transfer cases, power transfer units, axles, and limited slip couplings. Units include pre-filter that protects membrane from particles in air stream. Protective cap serves as barrier against impact, further ensuring lasting performance. Products connect to existing powertrain via tube, avoiding need for modifications.
Acoustic Vent adheres to portable electronic devices.

Acoustic Vent adheres to portable electronic devices.

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.    Elkton,, MD 21921
Apr 29, 2013 Constructed of proprietary, non-woven composite material, GAW113 adheres to acoustic openings of portable electronic devices, such as scanners, 2-way radios, and tablet/laptop PCs, to protect against dust and splashes. Product provides water spray efficiency of 90% and ability to capture particulates as small as 5 microns. Dark gray in color, vent is 0.47 mm thick and offers spray resistance to IP54 and <2 dB acoustic transmission loss.

Dec 10, 2012 Engineered for small enclosures, such as displays for electric bikes, mobility aids, and heavy duty equipment, GORE® VE80205 equalizes internal pressure by allowing air to flow freely into and out of enclosure. Breathable membrane minimizes condensation while also protecting electronics from liquids and particulates by providing IP67 barrier. Available in standard packaging of 5 parts across 41 mm wide carrier, 2.0 x 5.0 mm vent has typical airflow of 103.62 ml/min/cm².
Aerospace Materials protect surfaces against chafing, abrasion.

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.    Elkton,, MD 21921
Sep 27, 2012 Soft, durable, and chemically inert, GORE™ SKYFLEX™ Aerospace Materials for anti-chafe applications help minimize vibration force and reduce abrasive effects of foreign debris between surfaces. Protecting edges by isolating carbon and other components that are galvanically dissimilar, GORE SKYFLEX Aerospace Materials for edge protection are engineered to prevent abrasion and cut-through damage from composite floorboard edges. Both materials reduce likelihood of corrosion.
Screw-In Vents maintain constant pressure in enclosures.

Feb 22, 2012 Available in various sizes and thread types, Screw-in GORE® Protective Vents maintain high level of constant airflow in electronic housings and sealed devices used in lighting, solar, and telecommunication infrastructure applications. Design equalizes internal pressure, preventing premature failure of housing seals, and single-body construction provides protection against mechanical stress in addition to preventing ingress of water, dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
PTFE/HDPE Filters suit bulk chemical processing.

PTFE/HDPE Filters suit bulk chemical processing.

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.    Elkton,, MD 21921
Feb 07, 2012 Available in HDPE cartridge with 0.1 µm, 30 nm, and 20 nm retention ratings, GORE® PTFE Filters support fabrication of semiconductors and flat panel displays where optimum purity is critical. Combining low metal ion and organic extractables of all-HDPE cartridge, filters enable drop-in retention upgrade without sacrifice to existing system flow. PTFE membrane technology provides large, porous area available for fluid flow.

HDPE Cartridge Filters suit high-purity chemical manufacturing.

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.    Elkton,, MD 21921
Dec 05, 2011 Utilizing ePTFE membrane technology, GORE® Filters are available in 3 retention ratings of 0.1 µm, 30 nm, and 20 nm, suitable for high-purity chemicals used in semiconductor and LCD/FPD fabrication. All non-PTFE components utilize high density polyethylene to ensure low organic and metal ion extractables. Filters can operate in high-turnover recirculation filter systems or as final filter in high-throughput chemical filling and packaging systems.

Peristaltic Pump Tubing is constructed of reinforced VITON® .

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.    Elkton,, MD 21921
Sep 27, 2011 High-Resilience Tubing Style 400 combines chemical compatibility of VITON® elastomer with mechanical durability of Gore's reinforcement technology, which enables tubing to withstand burst pressures in excess of 300 psi, continuous operating pressures up to 60 psi, and intermittent pressures of up to 100 psi. Designed for use in high pressure, solvent-based dosing applications, tubing's construction gives it ability to maintain consistent flow rate for thousands of hours.
High-Data Rate Cable meets SCD21 requirements.

High-Data Rate Cable meets SCD21 requirements.

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.    Elkton,, MD 21921
Sep 30, 2010 Engineered for InfiniBand® and other high data rate applications, differential cable exhibits SCD21 (differential-to-common-mode conversion) values typically below -40 dB and consistently below -25 dB across 20 GHz bandwidth. Gauge sizes from 24-32 AWG are available, and SCD21 technology allows for precise cancellation of signals of equal amplitude and differential polarity, with minimal phase difference between differential legs.
