Jul 03, 2012 Designed to enable voice-controlled system interfaces, Spansion® Acoustic Coprocessor comprises custom-designed logic and high-speed memory and leverages Nuance Communications' VoCon® voice technology. Coprocessor accelerates and optimizes voice-enabled HMIs while offloading acoustic processing workload from conventional CPU. Support for large acoustic databases with multi-lingual, gender, and tonal sounds improves response time and accuracy.

Single-Die Serial Flash Memory is offered in 512 Mb version.

Software provides boot support, wear leveling for prolonged device operation, and tunable settings for Garbage collection and file fragmentation.
