May 10, 2013 Utilizing gas struts for tilt-up feature, Drawbridge Shelf Cart is suited for protecting and delivering totes, containers, or unpackaged parts from warehouse to sequential operations in production. Struts control speed of raising/lowering by counterbalancing weight of each tilt-away shelf. Cart has 34 x 70 in. footprint and holds up to 600 lb, but can be built to other sizes. Four 4 in. diameter urethane casters, 2 fixed and 2 with brakes, provide for stable rolling and secure positioning.

Programmable AGV carries up to 900 lb of cargo.

It then retracts tow pin, leaving cart for intended purpose and moves on to service another cart. Unit features load capacity of 2,000 lb, drawbar of 130 lb, and adjustable control of up to 7 speeds. For safety, AGV has obstacle sensor with 7 sensing areas and 2 outputs, temporary slow and stop.
