Apr 01, 2008 Available in strip width of 1,500 mm and thicknesses of 4-8 mm, Domex 1200 high-strength, hot-rolled structural steel is designed for slender structures such as outer ends of crane booms and top profiles of dumper truck bodies that must be capable of withstanding high stresses. With low topography surface finish, it comes with machining properties and low content of alloying elements. Suited for bending and welding, steel can be bent to tight radii.

Cold-Rolled Steels offer various strengths and thicknesses.

Nov 08, 2007 Measuring 0.28-1.0 mm thick, Docol Hard 450Y-750Y offers yield strength of 450-700 N/mm² and is suitable for light fittings, white goods, and furniture. Next level, ranging from 1.5-4.0 mm thick with yield strengths from 850-1,000 N/mm², is suited for lightweight containers as well as load-bearing beams, tubes, and profiles for building. With tensile strengths from 1,500-1,700 N/mm², highest strength steel ranges from 0.42-1.92 mm thick and is suited for heavy wear applications.

Steels do not require pre-heating.

Apr 23, 2002 Hot-rolled Domex 100W (100 min. yield) is manufactured from .118 to .236 in., and Docol 100W cold reduced steel is produced between .0197 and .079 in. Oxide layer forms on steel surface within 2 years, which impedes corrosion-inducing moisture from entering steel. Weather-resistant steels suit containers, bridges, and utility poles. They can be fabricated without changing production procedures; tight bending radii can be carried out in all directions.
