Mazak Laser Corporation    Schaumburg, IL 60173
Jun 22, 2004 Model SG-U44 performs 2D processing of sheet metal and plate, 3D cutting of pre-formed parts, and 3D rotary cutting of tube, pipe, and structural. Five-axis torch and simultaneously-controlled chuck allow laser to fabricate angle cuts, weld-prep bevels, and contours such as saddle joint cuts. Unit's 64-bit NC incorporates illustrated fill-in-the-blank screens to program complex cuts. Laser can process any length pipe and up to 4 ft x 4 ft x 1 in. sheet.

Jun 22, 2004 FabriGear-150 consists of 21-axis, automated rotary laser that fabricates tube, pipe, and structures with contours and bevels needed for tight fit ups on pipe joints and other intersecting or adjoining pipes. Its 64-bit NC controls 5-axis laser cutting head and 4 individual rotary chucks. Machine automatically loads, feeds, laser cuts, and unloads up to 4 in. dia round and rectangular pipe as well as I-beam and other structural raw material shapes.

Jun 21, 2004 HyperGear 2D Laser Cutting System features automatic torch and nozzle changer, plus automatic setup of focus lens position, nozzle to material distance, and beam adjustments. Air-cooled linear motors and stainless sealed protection covers do not require chillers or bellows. Sensors alert operators in advance of needed maintenance. Available in 4,000 and 2,500 W versions, HyperGear can process from thinnest painted galvanized steel up to 1 in. mild steel.

Mar 05, 2003 Space Gear is offered with 4 x 8 or 5 x 10 ft cutting table and 16.53 in. Z-axis stroke. In 2D mode, pivot-beam design and 4000 W resonator allow high-speed cutting of sheet metal and plate up to 1 in. thick. In 3D mode, laser can bevel cut flat material and cut pre-formed parts using same 5-axis cutting head. In rotary mode, machine processes pipe and rectangular and triangular tube as well as C, H, I, and L beams. It can be programmed using teach pendant or downloaded NC code.

Feb 10, 2003 Model MK II performs high-speed laser production on diverse range of material types and thicknesses. Engineered 4000 W resonator allows laser to cut mild steel up to 1 in. thick, while 1500 and 2500 W resonators suit thinner gauge cutting. NC programmable torch allows automatic setup of cut conditions for virtually any material type, and modular cutting head allows quick lens changes without re-focusing. Bed sizes include 4 x 8, 5 x 10, and 6 x 12 ft.

Nov 07, 2002 Model FG–150, 3D rotary laser cutting system automatically loads, feeds, laser cuts, and unloads materials with up to 5.9 in. dia. Its 64-bit NC simultaneously controls 3D cutting head and auto-fixturing rotary chuck, enabling system to laser cut precise angle cuts, weld-prep bevels, and contours. Resonators, from 1,500 to 4,000 W, are available. FGCAM software generates NC code, performs dynamic nesting, and has 70+ pre-programmed cut conditions.

Oct 10, 2002 STX–44 high-speed CO2 laser cutting system offers sheet metal fabricators choice of 1,500-, 2,500-, or 4,000-watt resonators. Mild steels up to 1 in. thick can be cut with the 4,000 watt system. All systems feature 4 ft x 4 ft bed, Meehanite frame, completely enclosed cutting area, and dust collector that meets FDA Class 1 safety standards. System programs easily either on the machine or downloaded to the CNC system.

Jul 19, 2002 Laser CMS (Cyber Manufacturing System) combines efficiency of automated material retrieval, loading, cutting, and unloading with networked communication to downstream operations and other departments. CMS is able to schedule consistent production of up to 4 lasers. CAD/CAM system separates design into components, figures bend allowances, and issues dimensioned manufacturing drawings for cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.

Oct 15, 2001 Automated laser load/unload cells can automatically load, cut, and unload sheets up to one in. thick. Its 4,000-watt laser cuts sheet sizes up to 4x8, 5x10 or 6x12 ft. Pneumatic loader picks up one sheet of plate at a time and carries it to laser. Just before loader places sheet on laser bed, fork style unloader picks up cut sheet. As laser begins cutting new sheet, unloader carries cut sheet to unload station.
