Units are available in 4 sizes with rotating ballscrews and translating nut, or non-rotating ballscrew in lifting cylinder design. Protected against contamination by bellows or protective tubes, ballscrew spindles are continuously lubricated with automatic lubrication system.

Feb 10, 2012 Precision Planetary Rack and Pinion Drive Systems offer helical or straight (spur) rack and pinions. HighForce ZTRS systems, for applications with thrust forces to 28,000 lb, feature drives available in 5 sizes with backlash levels down to 1 arc-min. For applications with thrust forces to 12,000 lb, ZTR and ZR systems come in 7 sizes with backlash levels down to 1 arc-min. Planetary reducers with solid output shafts are available for applications with thrust forces to 4,500 lb.

Oct 08, 2010 Available in straight and helical versions, Strong Line of Gear Racks utilize carburized case-hardening process to optimize strength of rack, including tooth flanks and root, mounting holes, and back and side surfaces. This allows back surface to be used with cam follower roller bearings for guiding axis. Racks are precision ground on teeth and all sides to achieve accurate pitch deviation and parallelism. With max holding force, mounting holes insure rack remains stationary under high forces.

Jul 03, 2007 High-Precision Gear Racks are precision manufactured in controlled environment, achieving tooth quality of DIN 4 with total pitch error of less than 12 microns over 1 m length and parallelism tolerance of less than 15 microns. Pitch can eliminate need for electronic compensation, and parallelism accommodates drives with low backlash without need for preloading. Racks come in straight and helical versions - in 5, 6, 8 and 10 modules - with linear force capacities to 45,000 lb.

Economy-Servo version delivers backlash level of less than 6 arc-min, while Basic-Servo provides backlash level of less than 12 arc-min. Range of motor couplings and mounting flanges are available, and hollow bore output can be used to mount output shafts, pinion shafts, or other drive elements.

May 18, 2005 In addition to High Precision model, Servo Worm Reducers are available in High Torque model with backlash of less than 1 arc-min, Economy version with less than 6 arc-min backlash, and Basic model with backlash of less than 12 arc-min. Four levels of precision allow machine designer to select required reducer precision to meet specific needs. Applications include rotary axis drives, traveling gantries and columns, and material handling axis drives.

Jan 04, 2005 Rack and pinion drives eliminate system backlash via split-pinion or dual-pinion arrangement. Positioning accuracy is maintained during acceleration and deceleration as well as for direction of travel reversals. Mechanically preloaded split-pinion drives utilize axial spring to load one pinion half against other. Electrically preloaded dual-pinion drives utilize 2 motors, each driving one pinion loaded against each other via motor controller.

Dec 22, 2004 Developed for use with servo motors, Servo-Worm Reducers feature angular backlash of less than 2 arc-min, with lower backlash levels optional. Units come in 5 sizes with 50–125 mm center distance, input speeds up to 5,000 rpm, and reduction ratios from 4.75 to 52:1. Wide range of motor couplings and mounting flanges are available for assembly to virtually all servo motors. Hollow bore output can be used to mount output shafts, pinion shafts, or other drive elements.
