Jan 12, 2012 Compliant with RoHS directive, Model CM-3700A measures reflectance of opaque objects and transmittance of transparent or translucent solid materials. Unit enables degree of UV in illumination to be controlled with 400 nm UV cutoff filter, which is inserted into instrument's illumination light path. Sample holder design enables measuring center of A4-sized sample, while damper provides soft close to protect samples from being damaged and to eliminate unwanted spring back.

Software Development Kit fosters spectrodensitometer interfacing.

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc.    Ramsey, NJ 07446
Jul 22, 2011 Software Development Kit (SDK) for handheld FD-5 and FD-7 spectrodensitometers, allows third-party software developers and integrators to interface their software with FD device. Developers can incorporate measurements that directly correspond to ISO 13655.2 guidelines, and measurements can be taken under multiple illuminants, such as M0, M1, M2, and user-defined, within one device. Devices can measure density and color while taking into account fluorescence of paper substrate.

Color Quality Control Software provides pass/fail assessment.

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc.    Ramsey, NJ 07446
Jul 08, 2011 Suited for variety of industries, SpectraMagic NX v2.10 enables inspection and quality control of color, from incoming raw materials to process production, through to final inspection. Program utilizes pre-defined screen templates for Pass/Fail assessment, statistical process control, and R/D analysis. It also allows user to design their own screen layout based on application. Version 2.10 includes Closest Color Search function and ability to search for data within files.

Spectrodensitometers monitor industrial press production.

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc.    Ramsey, NJ 07446
May 04, 2011 Handheld spectrodensitometers are available in FD-5 series models that measure density and color, as well as FD-7 series units that can also monitor paper, inks, and plant lighting conditions. Models in FD-7 series offer scanning mode for creation of ICC profiles, and can measure over 400 times/sec. Able to account for fluorescence of paper substrate, both products also allow users to provide measurements that comply with Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications and Tolerances.

Spectrodensitometers meet needs of digital imaging market.

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc.    Ramsey, NJ 07446
Jan 14, 2011 Weighing just less than 1 lb with target mask attached, handheld FD-Series measures density and color while taking into account fluorescence of paper substrate. Integral VFS (Virtual Fluorescence Standard) technology enables color evaluation under Illuminant D50, and automatic wavelength compensation calibrates in wavelength direction when white calibration is performed. Product corresponds to ISO 13655 M1 standard for fluorescence and color measurement.
