American Sensor Technologies, Inc.    Mt. Olive, NJ 07828
Jan 22, 2013 With all-316L and Inconel X750 material, AST5300 wet/wet differential pressure (DP) transducer can be used in explosion-proof and non-incendive areas and suits liquids/gases requiring high line pressure (1,500 psi) and low DP (10 psid) measurements. Design has no fluid fill cavities, and DP is measured without any oil-filled capsules. Options include ¼ in. NPT female process connections; 4–20 mA, 0.5–4.5 V ratiometric, 0–5 V, and 1–5 V output signals; and conduit electrical connections.

Jan 16, 2013 Featuring stainless steel construction and pressure ranges from 0–1 to 0–15 psi, Series AST44LP is available with ½ in. NPT male and ¼ in. BSPP male process connections. Models with ½ in. NPT option are popular in North America due to open, non-clogging cavity design. Non-incendive version, Series AST43LP, is also available with same process connection options.

Sep 27, 2012 Intended for hydrostatic level and temperature measurement, Model AST45PT provides 2 independent 4–20 mA output signals for level signal and temperature signal. Unit features measurement ranges from 1 psi (27.68 in. wc) to 100 psi (230.67 in. wc). Nose cone is installed on sensor to protect sensing element from damage during submersion, but can be removed to access ¼ in. NPT male pressure port. Constructed of stainless steel with no internal O-rings, sensor survives harsh environments.

Aug 31, 2012 Supplied with ½ in. NPT male conduit fittings before cable interface, models AST4500, AST4510, and AST4520 are Class I Division 1 intrinsically safe, Groups C and D when installed with barrier, as well as ABS certified. Uses include remote monitoring and telemetry applications where liquids and gases are in hazardous environments. Pressure ranges are available as low as 0-1 psi (27.68 in. WC). Non-hazardous area approved AST45PT combines pressure and temperature monitoring.

Jul 19, 2012 Featuring SPDT configuration with factory-set switch points and hysteresis, Model AST46SW is suited for oil and gas pipelines, drilling platforms, paint booths, and combustion controls. One-piece stainless steel sensing element, utilizing Krystal Bond Technology(TM), will measure pressure in extreme temperatures. CSA-approved for hazardous areas, switch features max operating pressure up to 20,000 psi, with zero signal drift due to extremely thick sensing diaphragm.

Water Pressure Sensors are packaged for long-term operation.

American Sensor Technologies, Inc.    Mt. Olive, NJ 07828
Apr 20, 2012 Used to measure water booster pressurization in pipelines and tanks and serve as part of monitoring/control systems, AST water pressure sensors maintain operating efficiency of water pumps. Krystal Bond(TM) Technology and one-piece diaphragm prevent hazardous materials penetration, and wetted materials choice withstands all types of water. Along with internal restrictor plug, features include various process and electrical connections and sensing element that withstands 500 Vdc isolation.
Pressure/Temperature Sensors feature dual output configuration.

Mar 22, 2012 Providing pressure and temperature outputs from single process point, AST20PT Stainless Steel Media Isolated Pressure/Temperature Sensor and AST46PT Explosionproof Pressure/Temperature Transmitter minimize process penetration points and leaks in critical systems. Model AST46PT offers pressure ranges up to 20,000 psi, while Model AST20PT ranges up to 45,000 psi. Featuring 1-piece body construction, microprocessor-controlled devices are available in temperature ranges from -40 to 250°F.

Jun 08, 2011 Available with Waspalloy material option that promotes use in processing of heavy oil and high sulfidation, AST4600 and AST46HA Series feature vented gauge reference, diaphragm thicknesses, and silicon strain gages to accommodate pressure ranges from 0-2.5 psi to 20,000 psi. Class 1, Div 1, Groups A/B/C/D approvals define AST46HA, and sealed gauge versions are approved for Class 2, Div 1 Groups A/B/C/D. Model AST46H features failure mode indicator option.

Pressure Sensors are built for sub-sea level measurement.

American Sensor Technologies, Inc.    Mt. Olive, NJ 07828
May 16, 2011 AST 4000 Series, constructed with all-316L stainless steel wetted parts, survives sub-sea environments. Even where oxygen levels are low and water movement continuous, one-piece construction with diaphragm membrane free of welds and O-rings minimizes pitting and crevices of sensor. Wet, pluggable connector completely seals electronics. Sensors provide gauge, sealed gauge, or compound gauge pressure measurement in ranges to 10,000 psi and offer accuracy of less than +0.5% BFSL at 77°.
