Mar 11, 2013 With selectable step resolutions from Full stepping to 256x microstepping, Model R325P is capable of stepping typical 1.8° motor over 51,000 steps per revolution. Driver provides output currents from 0.3–3.0 A peak while handling +12 to 48 Vdc of input voltage. Unit features current reduction capability with adjustable current and timeout settings, 3 optically isolated inputs, and 1 optically isolated control output that can be used for step, direction, disable/enable, and fault detection.

Units are available with various modifications, including shaft modifications, special cabling and connectors, spur and planetary gearboxes, and optical encoders. Motors are suitable for users that prefer velocity control with analog input and do not need holding torque.

Sep 09, 2009 Measuring over 3.3 in. long and 1.3 in. high, model R525 is capable of outputting up to 5 A peak current and handling up to 75 Vdc. It can be used with all NEMA 8, 11, and 17 motor motors, and is also compatible with many NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 motors. With built-in RS485 communication, unit offers configurable settings including step resolution, run current, hold current, damping modes, as well as selection of sensing step pulses on rising edge or falling edge.

Feb 05, 2008 Model R208 can provide up to 2.0 A of phase current to any bipolar step motor and change amount of holding current applied to motor. Along with option of setting micro stepping resolution from full step, half step, ¼ step, to 1/8 step, driver can utilize 12-24 Vdc power supply to produce constant sinusoidal current waveforms. It features optically isolated step, direction, and disable inputs and can also recognize step pulses from controller from rising or falling edge.

Aug 17, 2007 Operating from 24-80 Vdc, bipolar Models R701 and R710 supply phase currents ranging from 1-7 A. They feature 10x microstepping, selectable current reduction of 33%, step frequency of 200 kHz, and optically isolated step, direction, and disable/enable inputs. For users needing minimized vibration and smooth performance, units include onboard trimpots that can be adjusted to alter current waveform coming out of motor and going into step motor coils.
