May 29, 2012 Using optimal proportions of phosphorus and silicon, Nicrobraz® 31, 33, and 152 provide corrosion resistance, joint strength, and substrate structural integrity by minimizing alloying interactions between filler metal and base materials. Nicrobraz 31 is recommended for applications where boron containing filler metals cannot be used. It is also used to braze assemblies made of thin sheet metal as diffusion with base metal is minimized.

Nov 07, 2002 Developed for application with efficient PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) deposition equipment, Colmonoy 80PTA is supplied as powder with uniform size distribution. Composite material contains high volume (60%) of abrasion resistant tungsten carbide particles (3500 DPH) in soft (HRC 30) impact-resistant nickel base matrix alloy. Tungsten carbide provides abrasion resistance while nickel matrix offers ductility and impact resistance.

Aug 19, 2002 Used for plate-and-fin heat exchangers as well as automotive components, Nicrobraz® 31 nickel-base, high-chromium, oxidation-resistant, braze filler metal offers low susceptibility to oxidation. It provides burst strengths in excess of 2000 psi. With brazing range of 2000 to 2200°F, it is available as powder or premixed as paste suspension for application with Nicrobraz S dispensing system. It can also be provided as transfer tape, sheet, and flux powder paste.
