Polyimide Flexible Heaters have .007 in. thin profile.

Chromalox    Pittsburgh, PA 15238
May 01, 2012 With profile that optimizes heat transfer, polyimide (KaptonŽ) flexible heaters come in 24, 28, 115, and 240 V standard configurations and exhibit virtually no outgassing when energized. Various compatible temperature controls are available, including integrated thermistors, thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors, and thermostats. Designed for applications up to 200°C, heaters come in sizes up to 12 x 18 in. and have bend radius of .032 in. minimum.

Small Tank Heater features replaceable element design.

Chromalox    Pittsburgh, PA 15238
Mar 16, 2012 Designed primarily for oil and gas exploration, power generation, and chemical industries, STFX Small Tank Flange Heater allows heating elements to be changed without draining tank. Unit comes in multiple designs with varying watt densities, making it suited for applications ranging from viscous fluids, such as asphalt or Bunker C oil, to free-flowing oils, such as hydraulic fluids or lube oil. Each is equipped with type J thermocouple for over-temperature sensing on pipe wall.

Blower Heaters come in 20 and 50 kW options.

Chromalox    Pittsburgh, PA 15238
Sep 26, 2011 Through versatile mounting configurations in wall or ceiling, HVH Series provides vertical or horizontal airflow. Heaters feature epoxy-sealed elements to minimize false trips on ground-fault equipment. Pilot light indicates normal operation of heater, while outlet screen prevents objects from coming in contact with fan. To facilitate service, heaters provide access to internal components through large door at bottom and removable case front.
Enclosure Heater provides freeze and condensation protection.

Jun 01, 2011 Combining anodized aluminum body and cartridge heater, explosion-proof Chromalox XPMC is CSA certified for hazardous locations. Unit comes in 6 and 12 in. lengths, ranging from 120-480 V, and can be ordered with body only or with body and 1 or 2 heat sinks. Two control thermostats enable user to tailor heaters to individual needs. Also, number of fins can be adjusted to achieve wattage and temperature rating customer requires.

Multiloop Heat Tracing Controls effectively manage temperature.

Chromalox    Pittsburgh, PA 15238
Apr 18, 2011 Combining temperature control, monitoring, and power management, intelliTRACE ITLS Series (line sensing) and ITAS Series (ambient sensing) are designed for use in non-hazardous locations. Both panels offer 40 A per circuit, with support for up to 72 circuits; SCR control; and 10 in. touchscreen interface. Set up for remote monitoring, both series deliver customizable sensor mapping capabilities and support up to 36 loops; expansion to 72 loops is supported using matching panels.

Mid-Size Hot Oil Heat Transfer System has compact design.

Chromalox    Pittsburgh, PA 15238
Apr 18, 2011 Providing responsive and precise electronic process temperature control, MOS System works with various heat transfer oils and delivers heat transfer capabilities to 600°F (standard) or 650°F (optional) at atmospheric pressure. It operates in closed-loop system using optional cold expansion tank and is available for operation from 50-150 kW. Occupying 32 x 36 in. or 34 x 36 in. footprint, products offer SCR electronic solid state power control and do not require external cooling.

Heating System targets long-distance pipelines up to 15 miles.

Chromalox    Pittsburgh, PA 15238
Feb 17, 2011 Using single power supply, Skin-Effect Heating System provides freeze protection, temperature maintenance, and heat-up. Small steel tube containing skin-effect electric cable is banded onto pipe to transfer conductive heating directly to pipe wall. Heat input can be adjusted up to 300°F to handle range of thermal viscosities, including water, crude or refined oils, steam, and variety of chemicals. With no moving parts, system is suited for above ground, buried, or submerged pipes.
Digital Thermostat meets needs of diverse industries.
