Mar 14, 2014 Available as die cut gaskets and in slit-to-width rolls, 480S Gasket Tape is made from Saint-Gobain R10480S soft, low compression set, closed cell silicone sponge that allows for weather sealing with low closure force. Material is UL JMLU2, UL 50E, and UL 508 recognized for gaskets and seals used in continuous compression and period recompression. Backed by 3M 9485 acrylic adhesive capable of bonding to diverse substrates, tape comes in thicknesses of .125, .188, and .250 in.

Jun 29, 2010 Intended for silicone gasket and cushioning pad applications where acrylic adhesive systems cannot be used, DP-1001 polyimide film-supported silicone pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) features 91 lb poly-coated opaque white release liner designed to facilitate separation from silicone adhesive. This cross-linked silicone adhesive has continuous service from -100 to +500F and short-term, intermittent service to 600F.

Feb 25, 2005 Nickel-graphite filled SNE555, silver-plated glass filled SGE565, and silver-plated aluminum filled SGE565 are silicone rubber gaskets supplied with conductive acrylic adhesives. Low viscosity primer allows lamination of 3M Corporations' No. 9713 conductive fabric supported acrylic adhesive and Venture Tapes' No. 1692 conductive particle-filled acrylic adhesive onto conductive silicone rubber and oriented wire filled silicone gasketing materials.

Feb 25, 2005 Semi-Conductive S4503-CON closed cell, synthetic rubber sponge is formulated to have 500,000 ohms per square maximum surface resistivity. Compression force deflection is 3–7 lb per square inch. Sheets are available in .125, .250, .375, .500, .750, and 1.0 in. thicknesses. Material is suited for gaskets and cushioning pads in aerospace ground support, powder chemical processing, and integrated circuit handling applications requiring ESD grounding.

Feb 24, 2005 Cohrlastic closed cell silicone sponge gaskets and cushioning pads, supplied in custom die cut, water jet cut, and slit-to-width configurations, come in thicknesses from .032–.50 in. Formulations R10470-M (medium compressibility) and R10470-F (firm) are general-purpose silicone sponge, R10480-S (soft) and R10480-M maintain resiliency under extended compression, and R10460 adds flame-retardance. R10450 is constructed of silicone sponge with fiberglass reinforcement.

LIM silicone withstands temperatures from -100 to +450F, and cure cycles range from 30–90 sec. Process targets medical diagnostic, analytical instrumentation, communications, navigation, safety, and food processing industries.

Various grades are flame retardant to UL94V0 and UL94HF-1, and products are offered in 6 compression-force deflections from 0.75–18 psi and thicknesses from .032–1.0 in. They are suited for use as shock and cushioning pads in applications with temperatures from -67 to +392F.

Jan 13, 2005 Produced from liquid silicone rubber, Silicone Foam Gasketing is offered with film supported acrylic adhesive and unsupported acrylic transfer adhesive. Soft and medium grades come in thicknesses of .062–.375 in. and roll lengths from 30–10 linear ft. Made from gum-based silicone compounds with expanding agents, Closed Cell Silicone Sponge comes in medium grade from .032–.188 in. thick with unsupported acrylic transfer adhesive. Roll lengths range from 30–15 linear ft.

Dec 20, 2004 Pads and gaskets made from R10404-M are suited for use in electronic assemblies requiring mechanical shock isolation and thermal conductivity. Particle-filled, closed cell, silicone sponge rubber requires ~25–30% deflection to optimize thermal transfer properties. Flexible and compressible, it withstands -80 to +400F temperatures and maintains 0.65 W/m-K thermal conductivity. It comes in 6 thicknesses from .032–.250 in. and with TR3 thermally conductive acrylic adhesive.
