Surface-mount, single-poke, dual-beam contact system features optimized solder pad and closed-box design that captures wires from all sides. Accepting 12-20 AWG solid and stranded wires, contacts are rated for 10–20 A, depending on AWG. RoHS-compliant contacts, made of tin-over-nickel-plated copper alloy, operate from -40 to +125°C.

Units are available with through-hole and surface-mount lead options to provide mechanical decoupling of ceramic chips from board and minimize stress during board flexing, vibration, and temperature cycling. Radial leaded units feature capacitance range of 100 pF to 0.47 µF with tolerances of ±5%, ±10%, and 20%; voltage range of 600-5,000 V; and max dissipation factor of 0.15%. Operating from -55 to +125°C, capacitors are coated with high dielectric strength epoxy, which eliminates possibility of arc flashover.

Dec 19, 2012 Available in 2–6 positions, 9159-500 SMT, bottom entry, board-to-board, card edge connector eliminates process of hand soldering wires to top side of PCB in Edison-replacement LED bulb assemblies. Design lets perpendicular PCB be mated to top-mounted main FR4 or metal core PCB from bottom side using standard pick and place equipment and reflow soldering. Functionality also promotes performance in designs regarding color control and specific line control.
