Filter Fans cool electrical and electronic enclosures.

EIC Solutions, Inc.    Warminster, PA 18974-1157
May 27, 2014 Designed to remove unwanted heat from enclosures and cabinets, VFF Series provides forced convection cooling for computers, power distribution equipment, industrial automation controls, and food/beverage process controls. Fans draw filtered ambient air into cabinet while simultaneously blowing heated air out exhaust. Featuring injection molded, thermoplastic construction, fans provide 11–368 cfm of airflow and will maintain NEMA ratings of 12, 3R, or 4, depending on model.

Mar 28, 2014 Featuring Type 304 stainless steel NEMA 4X construction, HE Series draws heated air from cabinet, thermodynamically cools it, and then returns cooled air to cabinet. Process can cool cabinet interiors to within 5°F above ambient air temperature outside enclosure. Available in wide range of sizes to provide 5.7–83 W/°F of closed-loop heat removal capacity, heat exchangers have epoxy coated aluminum core, 24/48 Vdc and 120/230 Vac power options, and 4 or 10 micron ambient side intake air filter.

Feb 27, 2014 Comprised of smaller units from 12 x 12 x 8 in. to 36 x 30 x 16 in. and larger units from 48 x 30 x 10 in. to 72 x 30 x 16 in., pre-packaged Protector Series protects and cools electronics and electrical devices. Wall-, pole-, or floor-mounted enclosures, rated NEMA 4/4X, feature powder coated steel or stainless steel construction. Cooling options include ThermoTEC thermoelectric air conditioners with 200, 400, 800, or 1,500 BTU/hr cooling capacity.

Nov 11, 2013 Used for cooling electronic enclosures, ThermoTEC thermoelectric coolers offer sustained, peak performance in environments with temperatures as high as 170°F. Select models can be configured to operate in ambient temperatures up to 190°F. NEMA 4X rating enables use indoors or outdoors, while solid-state electronics and lack of moving parts (except fans) minimize maintenance concerns. Sizes range from 200–2,500 BTU, and temperature can be controlled to within fractions of 1°.

Sep 16, 2013 With different mounting options, Thermoelectric Air Conditioners for electronic enclosures help users meet varying installation space requirements. Standard through-mount option assures optimum airflow which promotes efficient cooling of cabinet contents. If there is no room in enclosure interior, extension frame mount is available which creates alcove in cabinet panel. Conversely, recessed frame mount places cooling unit entirely within cabinet so that all external enclosure surfaces are flat.

Aug 14, 2013 Using thermoelectric cooling units to maintain contents at safe operating levels, EIC Electronic Enclosures incorporate horizontal or vertical Drip Pans to manage condensate by collecting moisture and then channeling it outside enclosure via external drain. Small hole is drilled in enclosure for drain tube to pass through, and opening is weatherproofed with rubber grommet and waterproof sealant. Design protects enclosure contents from water damage, rust, and corrosion.

Jun 12, 2013 To help minimize downtime, EIC Electronic Enclosures are available with M74 option, which facilitates washdown of thermoelectric coolers that are mounted to enclosures. To remove hot side or outside cover of thermoelectric cooling unit, operator loosens acorn nuts by hand, eliminating need for tools. Weather-tight indoor/outdoor enclosures are constructed of powder coated steel, built to NEMA standards, and are suitable for wall-, pole-, or floor-mounted applications.

May 23, 2013 Weather-tight EIC air-conditioned electronic enclosures, built to NEMA standards, are available with NEMA 4-rated, fully programmable digital temperature control (DTC). Operating with tolerance of ±1°F via use of proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control scheme, DTCs enable end-user to control internal enclosure environments over specific temperature ranges and time periods as well as factor in such variables as heat load fluctuations and power consumption.
