VetScan HM5 provides 22-parameter complete blood count and 4 cellular histograms for cat, dog, and horse. It also offers 3-part mode for 7 other species. For operation, this fully automated, 5-part differential cell counter requires operator to enter appropriate patient information, insert well-mixed blood sample, and press Start button. Device requires minimal maintenance and also offers capabilities for database management.

Capable of obtaining results from 2 drops of blood, VetScan VS2(TM) provides in-clinic veterinary diagnostic chemistry, electrolytes, immunoassay, and blood gas instrument that can run rotors in as few as 10 min. High-resolution, full-color touch screen presents test results and device can be used to test multiple species. Menu-driven choices let users change instrument settings, select language, and input customized ranges.
