Based on 32 nm process technology, Intel® Xeon® Processor 5600 series enables data centers to replace 15 single-core servers with one server. Expandable to 2-256 chips per server, Intel® Xeon® 7500 series comes in frequencies up to 2.66 GHz and enables IT managers to consolidate up to 20 older, single-core, 4-chip servers onto one server. In addition to integrating graphics and memory controller, Atom(TM) processors leverage 45 nm manufacturing to promote space and power conservation in netbooks and entry-level desktop PCs. Atom N450 and D410 are single-core CPUs with 512k L2 cache and respective total kit TDP, including chipset, of 7 and 12 W. Dual-core D510 comes with 1 meg L2 cache and 15 W total kit TDP, including chipset. All chips run at 1.66 GHz.
