Linear stroking system with 3.36 hp servo drive keeps honing tool concentric with bore throughout full stroke length to produce consistent diameter from top to bottom of bore. With 36 x 40 in. work envelope, 30 in. X axis, and 1,500 lb weight capacity, PLC-controlled system can hone bores with inside diameters from 0.75–8 in.

In addition to difficult materials such as stainless steel, product works on virtually any metal from aluminum to zirconium, and is effective as general cutting oil for screw machines, drilling, tapping, and reaming.
