Shaft Locking Bushing ensures roll forming wheels stay aligned.

Shaft Locking Bushing ensures roll forming wheels stay aligned.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
May 24, 2013 By centering, synchronizing, and locking roll forming wheels into position, ETP Hyloc™ ensures smooth, consistent barstock. Adjustable unit can be repositioned on shaft or removed for changing to another roll forming wheel size. Available for 50–220 mm shaft diameters, bushing has internal double-walled steel sleeve that encloses conical-shaped, moveable piston. When pressurized using hydraulic pump, sleeve expands uniformly against shaft and hub to form continuous and rigid connection to shaft.
Shaft Locking Bushings mount large components in tight spaces.

Shaft Locking Bushings mount large components in tight spaces.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
May 01, 2013 Capable of handling torque from 21,000–200,000 lb-ft, ETP Hydropress Bushings utilize hydraulic pressure contained in double-walled sleeve to provide precise fastening of components on shafts from 80–200 mm diameter. Both radial and axial connection to shaft is made using grease pump for mounting. Once mounted and pressurized, conical angle of outer sleeve locks device into position, forming tight, continuous connection between shaft and mounted component.
Offset Couplings incorporate maintenance-free bearings.

Offset Couplings incorporate maintenance-free bearings.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Mar 29, 2013 Featuring needle bearings with internal micro-poly lubrication, Schmidt Offset Couplings provide maintenance-free precision on parallel offset shafts. Couplings transmit constant angular velocity and torque in range of parallel shaft misalignments, and design keeps out contaminants and foreign matter. Handling parallel offset up to 17 in. and available with torque capacities up to 459,000 lb-in., products impose no side loads on shafts or bearings and eliminate radial shaft vibrations.
Custom Variable Speed Drives dispense seed and fertilizer.

Custom Variable Speed Drives dispense seed and fertilizer.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Nov 30, 2012 Designed for precision farming equipment and guided by global positioning systems, Custom Variable Speed Drives meter and dispense seed and fertilizer. Designed to provide accurate and repeatable speed settings, drives are used as prime mover connected to motor, or as secondary drive connected to shaft in machine's driveline. When used as prime mover, drives act as variable speed devices, and when used as secondary drive, they become variable ratio devices.
Clamp Style Hub Couplings handle large shafts, high torque.

Clamp Style Hub Couplings handle large shafts, high torque.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Nov 08, 2012 Featuring clamp style hubs designed for optimal shaft engagement, ServoClass® couplings are designed for high-speed reversing loads and precise positioning requirements in servomotor applications at speeds up to 10,000 rpm. Clamping strength eliminates need for keyways while providing clean, balanced design. Available in 12 sizes in single- and double-disc models, couplings handle torque from 0.5–250 Nm and are manufactured of RoHS-compliant materials.
Single and Double Disc Couplings handle up to 4 nm torque.

Single and Double Disc Couplings handle up to 4 nm torque.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Sep 06, 2012 Designed for 5-14 mm bore diameters, ServoClass® SD025R and SC025R Couplings handle high-speed reversing loads and precise positioning requirements in demanding servomotor applications at speeds up to 10,000 rpm. RoHS-compliant units are constructed with 304 SS disc packs and aluminum clamp style hubs and center members. To ensure precise alignment of assembled components, ISO 4762 CL12.9 corrosion-resistant socket head cap screws are utilized.
Zero Backlash CD Couplings range from 40-564 Nm.

Zero Backlash CD Couplings range from 40-564 Nm.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Apr 16, 2012 Available in 6 sizes with speed ratings from 6,700-15,000 rpm, Series A1C CD® Couplings suit demanding servo motor and motion control applications. Precision machined, clamp style hubs are made from ISO grade 7075-T6 aluminum and black anodized to MIL-A-8625 Type 2, Class 2 finish. Recessed fasteners are ISO 4762 grade 12.9 socket head cap screws. Manufactured to strict aerospace and Six Sigma practices, composite discs are chemical- and moisture-resistant.
Large Torque Limiters handle torque up to 50,000 Nm.

Large Torque Limiters handle torque up to 50,000 Nm.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Mar 12, 2012 Available in models capable of handling up to 37,000 foot-pounds (50,000 Nm) of torque, Torque Limiters protect drive trains, gearboxes, and generators from excessive peak loads, minimize risk of breakdowns, and help extend system life. Features include factory preset torque and max bore sizes up to 5˝ in. or 140 mm with or without keyway. Operational from -40 to +80°C, maintenance-free products are available in custom designs for all OEM applications.
Keyless Shaft Bushings are available in 20, 40 and 60 mm sizes.

Keyless Shaft Bushings are available in 20, 40 and 60 mm sizes.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Jan 25, 2012 Providing concentricity to .001 in. TIR, ETP Express Bushings handle torque ranges from 40-6,400 lb and are available in 20, 40 and 60 mm sizes. Shaft-locking bushings provide mounting/dismounting capabilities with only one radial screw. They are designed for locking gears, cams, and timing pulleys into position in tight spaces. Bushings handle temperature ranges from -22°F to 180°F. Uniform pressure prevents damage to surfaces and enables use of shafts without keyways.
Wind Turbine Couplings deliver 100,000 Nm torque.

Wind Turbine Couplings deliver 100,000 Nm torque.

Zero-Max, Inc.    Minneapolis, MN 55441 5537
Feb 03, 2011 Zero-Max Wind Turbine Couplings are tested under conditions simulating 20-year load spectrum of continuous operation. Composite disk packs, located at both ends of center spacer, allow parallel and axial misalignment while remaining torsionally stiff through all harmonic ranges of wind turbine's oscillating load. Depending on application, center spacers can be machined out of steel, composite glass fiber, or 6061-T6 aluminum and engineered to withstand in excess of 100,000 Nm torque.
