Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies are designed to reduce installation time.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Sep 19, 2011
To facilitate installation, Pretium EDGE® Solutions feature snap-in routing guides, mounting brackets for depth adjustments, and compact cable leg outer diameter. Reverse Polarity Uniboot jumper and harness enables accelerated polarity management in field without tooling. Terminated with MTP® connectors on both ends and ClearCurve® multimode cable, 12-fiber 40G jumper meets IEEE 802.3ba 40/100G total connector loss requirements of 1.5 dB for OM3 and 1.0 for OM4 at 40G.
Patch Cord facilitates conversion from 10G to 100G Ethernet.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Apr 13, 2010
Because 100GBASE-SR10 Ethernet multimode fiber electronics utilize 24-fiber connector, dual 12-fiber MTP to 24-fiber MTP 100G Migration Patch Cord eliminates need for re-cabling in 100G-ready 12-fiber systems. ANSI/TIA-568-C.3-compliant unit features flexible round cable and Corning® ClearCurve® multimode fiber. Cord meets polarity requirements of IEEE 802.3ba, 40/100G Ethernet Standard, and connectors are FOCIS 5-compliant, ensuring compatibility with MT-based transceivers.
OTDR tests and troubleshoots fiber optic networks.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Sep 24, 2009
Targeted at short-haul OTDR testing applications, handheld OV-Mini Optical Time Domain Reflectometer tests single-mode and 50/62.5 micron multimode systems. USB stick compatibility and USB cable download aid in data transfer, while OptiTest one-touch testing provides ease-of-use. Transreflective color display displays results clearly, even under extreme sunlight. Unit is available with power meter, visual fault locator and video inspection probe options.
Single-Fiber Port Cleaners remove common contaminates.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Sep 24, 2009
Offering more than 525 cleanings/unit, Single-Fiber Port Cleaners remove skin oil, fine dust particulates and liquid residues from connector end-faces loaded in adapters and cable assemblies. Tool cleans standard fiber optic connector styles such as SC, ST® Compatible, FC, E2000, LC and OptiTap®. Dust cap has lid that opens to accept ferrule for cleaning cable assemblies, and nozzle design ensures proper alignment for cleaning connectors in adapters and enclosures.
Preterminated Optical Cabling facilitates fast deployment.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Jun 29, 2009
Designed for data centers, high-density LANscape® Pretium® Evolved-Density, Growth-Enabled (EDGE) solutions feature preterminated multi-fiber assemblies, or trunks, with minimum bend radius as small as 5 times OD of cable. Cable can be tightly routed around corners and bends, and extra slack can be coiled without causing attenuation. Interconnect cables offer bend radius of up to 8 times OD, while housings are available in 1U and 4U sizes and mount in 19 in. racks or cabinets.
Bend-Tolerant Jumpers suit enterprise applications.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
May 01, 2009
Pretium® Low-Loss OM3 Jumpers with ultra-bend performance are high-bandwidth, laser-optimized cable assemblies featuring Corning® ClearCurve® multimode fiber, which confine modes of light to within fiber's core. Products are able to accommodate minimum bend radius of 8-10 mm, on 1.6-2.0 mm cable, with minimal bend-induced attenuation loss. They are suited for enterprise LAN and datacenter applications.
Connector/Splice Enlcosures offer security and durability.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489

LANscape® Industrial Connector Housing (ICH) series accommodates conduit with concentric knockouts or rubber grommets. Units have padlock-capable outer door as well as separate inner door that protects provider side of unit from unauthorized access. Likewise-lockable Industrial Splice Housing (ISH) series is wall-mountable for transition splicing between cable at building entrance or pigtail splicing, providing storage and protection of fiber splices in individually accessible trays.
Test Instruments facilitate optical network certification.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Jul 31, 2008
Used in LAN applications, OTS-600 Series is comprised of optical sources, meters, testers, and kits with 10,000-result data storage capabilities. Models OT-600 and OS-400 come with USB data transfer interface, video inspection probe port, and 650 nm visual fault locator for optical network troubleshooting. Color LCD screen, soft-key menus, and testing wizard facilitate use, and OTS-View software is included for creating, saving, uploading, managing, and printing certification reports.
Fusion Splicer targets LAN applications.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Jul 25, 2008
Designed with maintenance-free electrodes, OptiSplice® M90e uses LID-SYSTEM(TM) Unit to optimize core alignment in X, Y, and Z axes. Auto fusion time control monitors power level through splice and completes fusing process when splice loss is at minimum. Based on 3-dimensional cameras, Core Detection System allows for 13 sec single-mode core-alignment on 250 or 900 micron-coated fibers, bend-insensitive fibers such as ClearCurve(TM), or fibers with live traffic.
Optical Cables are flame-retardant.Corning Cable Systems
Hickory, NC 28603-0489
Jul 17, 2008
Test verified to meet specific mechanical and environmental conditions of many industrial applications, LSZH(TM) Industrial Cables contain compound that does not drip when superheated. Low-smoke/zero-halogen cables come in various designs including interlocking armored cable, riser-rated corrugated armored cable, double-jacketed cold-temperature cable, and single-jacket cable. They are tray-rated per UL1277, UL13, UL444, and CSA C22.2 No. 230 and No. 232 standards for industrial applications.
