Jun 05, 2013 Based on Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, NuPower™ S- and C-band PA modules come in ruggedized packages and exhibit typical efficiencies from 20%–40%. Solid-state PAs accept nominal 0 dBm input and deliver at least 15 W of saturated power across 2,500–6,000 MHz. With 3.15 in.³ form factor, modules suit restrictions of size, weight, and power-constrained applications, such as tactical communications and telemetry for unmanned systems.

May 10, 2013 Designed for use with half-duplex RF transceivers running constant-envelope waveforms, NuPower Xtender™ Bidirectional L- and S-Band PA module (model NW-BSSPA-10W-1.0-2.5) provides 10 W peak min RF output power and 40 dB of gain with 30% average power efficiency from 1,000–2,500 MHz. Adjacent radio frequency bands, such as 900 MHz ISM band, are supported at lower peak power levels. Nickel-plated aluminum chassis occupies 3.00 x 2.00 x 1.15 in. and weighs <6 oz.

May 12, 2010 High-performance, solid-state, multi-octave power amplifier (MOPA) NW-SSPA-20W-0.4-2.4 delivers 20 W across frequency band of 400 MHz to 2.4 GHz. Amplifier is suited for broadband RF telemetry and military communication systems that require high efficiency in compact housing.

RF Upconverter can handle input signals up to +8 dBm.

NuWaves Engineering    Middletown, OH 45044
Mar 28, 2008 Operating at 6 Vdc, Model RF2-3000UCV1 multi-octave upconverter features IF input ranging from 2-70 MHz to provide RF upconversion between 2 MHz and 3 GHz with gain flatness under 2 dB for specified spectrum. It has 50 dB of attenuation control with incremental steps of 0.5 dB and 5 kHz frequency step size. Packaged in ruggedized aluminum enclosure measuring 1.0 x 2.5 x 3.5 in., unit can be used in variety of applications, and also on bench as stand alone RF signal generator.

Aug 11, 2005 With typical gain of 20 dB, HILNAV1 low noise amplifier operates in usable frequency range of 50 MHz to 1.5 GHz. Input to device is 5-30 Vdc with internal regulator. Featuring reverse voltage protection, design achieves typical third intercept point of +32 dBm. Product is housed in extruded aluminum enclosure and offers option for mounting flanges. It is also available in OEM sub-assembly version with mounting holes.
