System consists of 4 modules: 2 base components and 2 catalyst components. From these modules, processor mixes 2 components of RTV-2 silicone rubber compound in quantities needed for curing. Dec 05, 2011 Minimizing mold fouling, ELASTOSIL® LR 3011/50 FR is formulated with inert fillers that work together to produce flame-retardant properties without abrasive additives. Vulcanizates are UL 94 V-0 rated. Addressing 2-component injection molded products, self-adhesive ELASTOSIL® LR 3170/40 also meets V-0 flammability rating of UL 94 standard. It uses self-bonding technology and is formulated such that it begins bonding to hard components but not surface of injection mold during vulcanization.

Single-component silicone rubber adhesive is certified as biocompatible in accordance with selected ISO 10993-1 and USP Class VI tests. Pourable ELASTOSIL® Solar 3210 is 2-part rubber with optimized light permeability and does not shrink, with hardness of 45 Shore.
