Using optical pattern recognition software, EasyCell® assistant automatically locates white cells on blood smear and preclassifies them to facilitate cell differentiation. Images are digitally stored and presented for review, as grouped by cell type, on LCD. Also, images of red cells and platelets are presented to enable red cell morphology and platelet estimates. Stat slide port permits immediate testing without disrupting sample run, and 30-position carousel affords walkaway operation.
