Apr 22, 2010 As bio-based resin for automotive vehicle body parts, including exterior panels, Palapreg® ECO P55-01 is composed of 55% renewable resources and does not require sacrifices of product performance or production speed. EcoPaXX(TM) bio-based engineering plastic combines melting point of approximately 250°C, low moisture absorption, and optimal resistance to chemical substances. Approximately 70% of this polyamide material is based on building blocks derived from renewable castor oil.
