Sep 06, 2012 By using balls manufactured from silicon nitride instead of tool or stainless steel, Hybrid Ball Screws eliminate micro-welding in ball nut, minimizing friction and extending lifetime. Units are available in diameters ranging from 6-40 mm with pitches of 1, 3, 5, and 10 mm. Applications include semiconductor production machines, inspection equipment, medical/dental devices, aerospace robotics, and analytical equipment.

Aug 03, 2012 UltraSpeed precision ball screws are based on ball return system with deflectors that guide balls into return channel spanning whole nut length. With complex geometry that minimizes friction, precision-milled deflectors allow for high speeds with minimal wear. Ball screws come in 32-100 mm dia versions and have lead-to-diameter ratios from 0.5:1 to 1:1. Speed ratings are up to and beyond dN=160,000, while linear velocities of 4,000 ipm are possible at accelerations of 2 G or higher.

Jul 13, 2012 Available in diameters as small as 3 mm with choice of 0.5 or 1 mm pitch, ULTRAMINIATURE ball screws are manufactured from standard tool steel, hardened, and then precision ground to meet ISO tolerances from P0-P5. Stainless steel material is available as option. Products are equipped with one of 4 types of ball nuts, with or without preload, and custom lengths are available with journals machined to control drawing. Areas of use include robotics and semiconductor processing/inspection.
