Sep 18, 2013 Using IR radiant heat transfer, Cata-Dyne™ LH Series Standard Line Heater is suited for use during pressure reduction at natural gas regulating sites, conditioning fuel gas for natural gas fired turbines or engines, as well as heating gas and diluent streams in various process applications. While there are 5 standard sizes available from 40,000–160,000 Btu input, custom engineered units are available. All heaters are certified for Class I, Division 1 or 2, Group D hazardous locations.

Unit is constructed of multiple insert pipes mounted to common flange; each pipe is fitted with segregated heavy-duty alloy sheathed heating element. Enabling primary interruption of line power to safely protect heater core, integrated dedicated shunt trip circuit breaker operates independent of control circuit and is triggered by redundant heater core high temperature limit.

Heating elements using end seal are protected from effects of moisture absorption during operation, transport, and extended storage periods.
