Sep 17, 2014 Featuring Stepped Inlet Design, Inner Surface Microstructures, and Flow Acceleration Channels, 80 mm Model NF-A8 is available in PWM (2,200 rpm), FLX (2000/1650/1200 rpm) and ULN (1400/1000 rpm) variants, while 92 mm Model NF-A9 comes in PWM (2000 rpm) and FLX (1600/1250/1050 rpm) models. With 5 V operating voltage, 17.9 dB(A) noise rating, and included OmniJoin™ adapter that makes it compatible with proprietary fan headers, Model NF-A4x10 5V can replace noisy or broken 5 V 40 mm fans.

Feb 19, 2013 Along with Anti-Stall Knobs that reduce flow separation in medium- to high-impedance situations, NF-S12A has AAO frames featuring integrated anti-vibration pads as well as Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures. Respectively, NF-S12A FLX and NF-S12A ULN provide 1,200/900/700 rpm and 800/600 rpm settings. Model NF-S12A PWM comes with NE-FD1 IC for automatic speed control via 4-pin fan headers and Low-Noise-Adaptor to reduce max speed during PWM control from 1,200 to 900 rpm.

These 37 mm tall CPU coolers employ 23 mm heatsink that complies with Intel LGA115x and AMD FMx socket keep-out zones as well as 14 mm thick NF-A9x14 fan that supports PWM for fully automatic speed control. Low-Noise Adaptor, included, allows max fan speed reduction from 2,500 to 1,800 rpm.

Stator guide vanes are set out in varying angular distance and feature vortex-control notches to help spread noise emission over broad frequency spectrum. Adding turbulence to influx, stepped inlet design facilitates transition from laminar flow to turbulent flow.
