Fibre-Optic sCMOS Camera provides high-energy detection.

Fibre-Optic sCMOS Camera provides high-energy detection.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
Jun 30, 2014 Designed for high-energy X-ray and neutron indirect detection, Zyla 5.5 HF offers combination of 5.5 megapixel resolution array with 6.5 µm pixels, 100 frames/sec sustained acquisition rate, and ultra-low 1.2 e-readout noise. Modular architecture allows coupling of scintillators, fiber-optic tapers, and Beryllium filters, allowing configuration of Zyla HF to match requirements of applications such as X-ray materials imaging, non-invasive X-ray bio- and medical imaging, or neutron tomography.
CMOS USB 3.0 Cameras offer optimized frame rate performance.

CMOS USB 3.0 Cameras offer optimized frame rate performance.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
Jun 13, 2014 Suited for such microscopy applications as ion signaling, super-resolution, light sheet, and TIRF, USB 3.0 versions of Zyla sCMOS camera offer up to 53 fps performance from 4.2 MP array. Plug-and-play USB 3.0 interface is available on Zyla 5.5 and Zyla 4.2 models, which respectively house 5.5 and 4.2 MP sensors. On-head FPGA real-time data processing promotes maximum image quality and quantitative stability, while dual Rolling and Global Snapshot Shutter capability aids live cell imaging.

OEM Camera provides optimized spectroscopy in NIR.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
May 13, 2014 Featuring Low Dark Current-Deep Depletion technology, iVac 316 NIR Spectroscopy Detector offers combination of high sensitivity in NIR region, high resolution of 15 µm pixels, and up to 95% quantum efficiency. Unit incorporates fringe suppression technology for ultra-low optical etaloning. Thermo-Electric cooling down to -60°C ensures that, by simultaneously minimizing dark current and maximizing NIR photon collection, best signal-to-noise can always be achieved for wide range of applications.

Imaging and Spectroscopy Software speeds data acquisition.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
Mar 20, 2014 Fully 64-bit enabled, Solis v4.24 offers advantages to users that want to acquire large dataset with Andor's range of imaging cameras. Product is available in versions designed to run imaging, spectroscopy, and time resolved cameras and associated accessories. With built-in AndorBasic programming language, users can program image acquisitions, automate file storage, communicate with external devices, and manipulate data. Full capacity of PC RAM can now be utilized to store image frames.

CCD Cameras feature light-tight Beryllium window.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
Mar 06, 2014 Featuring -100°C deep cooling, iKon-M SY and Newton SY Series of standalone CCD detectors are suitable for high energy applications that require direct detection of soft X-ray region ranging from <2.5 to >20 keV, with rapid readout of 5 MHz and 2 MHz, respectively. Beryllium window, measuring 200 microns thick, blocks all unwanted lower energies and visible wavelengths with minimal beam hardening. Typical applications include soft X-ray imaging and X-ray fluorescence.

Multi-Dimension Image Acquisition Software has optimized UI.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
Mar 06, 2014 Used in laboratories to execute complex imaging protocols, iQ3 features UI which makes all major settings for 6 dimensional imaging readily available and thereby optimizes workflow and accelerates configuration. User management capabilities, which enable creation and management of personal settings to protect experimental configurations and images between users, also track usage for technical and financial management.

Illumination Source benefits multi-focal confocal microscopy.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
Dec 13, 2013 Borealis® enhances illumination of all models of Yokogawa CSU10, 21, 22, and X1 scan heads regarding uniformity, throughput, and imaging performance. Extension of excitation wavelength range to 400–750 nm increases image quality, acquisition rates, image quantification, and imaging depth of thick or scattering specimens. While flexible bellows attachment to microscope enables strain-free alignment, field lens tubes enhance imaging performance and allow adjustment of effective pinhole size.

Spectrograph System offers high-density multi-track imaging.

Andor Technology Ltd.    South Windsor, CT 06074
Nov 07, 2013 Featuring F/1.8 aperture, Volume Phase Holographic grating-based Holospec provides optimized photon collection efficiency when combined with ultrasensitive detectors, such as Andor’s iDus 416 Low Dark Current Deep-Depletion CCD series. System offers aberration-corrected optics for multi-track capabilities. Applications include weak nanostructure photoluminescence, micro-Raman mapping, spectrally assisted microfluidics, real-time medical diagnosis, and stand-off chemical detection.
