Software Development Tools program HPC accelerators.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Feb 22, 2013 Available for Linux, Apple OS X, and MS Windows, PGI® 2013 provides high-performance parallelizing compilers and development tools. Release of native Fortran 2003 and C99 compilers expands support for OpenACC directive-based accelerator programming model through addition of PGI Accelerator C++ compiler. CUDA Fortran extensions support textures as well as dynamic parallelism and separate compilation on CUDA-enabled hardware. PGI 2013 also optimizes performance on multi-core x64 processors.

Compiler Tool supports multi-core ARM CPUs.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Mar 09, 2012 Supporting ARM-based ST-Ericsson NovaThor(TM) platforms, PGI OpenCL Framework includes PGI OpenCL device compiler, which compiles OpenCL kernels for parallel execution on processor. PGCL driver processes source files containing C99, C++, or OpenCL program units, and uses Android native development kit versions of gcc and g++ to compile OpenCL host code. OpenCL Platform Layer provides library of routines to query platform capabilities and create execution contexts from OpenCL host code.

Parallelizing Compilers support Intel and AMD microprocessors.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Mar 01, 2011 Suited for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows, PGI 2011 offers full support for PGI Accelerator programming model 1.2 specification on x64 processor-based systems incorporating NVIDIA CUDA-enabled GPUs. Compilers and development tools also support Fortran 2003 standard and AVX instruction set architecture in Intel Sandy Bridge and AMD Bulldozer CPUs. Program provides OpenMP nested parallelism, memory-hierarchy optimizations, and debugger optimizations, including compact parallel register displays.

PGI Optimizing Fortran Compiler aids HPC application development.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Jul 21, 2010 Suited for multi-core x64+GPU platforms, PGI Visual Fortran® for Visual Studio 2010 v10.6 integrates PGI parallel Fortran compilers and tools with MS Visual Studio for those upgrading to 64-bit multicore platforms running Windows®. It supports building Windows Fortran applications via latest version of MS Visual Studio 2010 IDE and offers tools, such as MPI/OpenMP parallel debugger, for building HPC applications for multicore workstations and Windows HPC Server 2008 clusters.

Software Tools help harness computational power of GPUs.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Nov 18, 2009 Comprised of parallelizing compilers and development tools for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows, PGI® 2010 offers full support for PGI Accelerator Programming model v1.0 standard on x64 processor-based systems incorporating NVIDIA CUDA-enabled GPUs. It also features PGI Accelerator programming model and support for Fortran 2003 incremental features. Other integrations include EDG 4.1 C++ front-end with GNU and MS compatibility and OpenMP parallel programming support for up to 256 cores.

MPI Debugging Software works on Windows clusters.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Aug 14, 2009 Supporting Windows HPC Server 2008 clusters, PGI Visual Fortran® (PVF®) Release 9.0 enables building/launching/debugging of Microsoft MPI Fortran applications from Microsoft Visual Studio. Its PVF debug engine allows debugging of single and multithread, OpenMP, multithread MSMPI, and hybrid MSMPI+OpenMP applications. Also supporting Linux and Mac OS X, it can debug 32- or 64-bit applications using source or assembly code and offers access to registers/hardware state of processors.

Software Development Tools/Compilers facilitate x64+GPU programming.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Jul 07, 2009 Suited for HPC systems, PGI® v9.0 parallelizing compilers and development tools support PGI Accelerator(TM) programming model on x64 processor-based Linux systems incorporating NVIDIA CUDA-enabled GPUs. Compilers analyze whole program structure and data, split portions of application between multi-core x65 CPU and GPU as specified by user, and define and generate mapping of loops to automatically use parallel cores, hardware threading capabilities, and SIMD vector capabilities of GPUs.

Compilers/Development Tools suit multicore x64 processors.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Dec 01, 2008 PGI® Release 8.0 supports OpenMP 3.0 multicore parallel programming standard in Fortran and C across Linux/Mac OS X/Windows. It enables automatic offloading of parallel computations from x64 host processors to CUDA-enabled GPUs and analyzes source code automatically, listing possible or inhibited performance changes. Data is presented through Common Compiler Feedback Format. Program supports Microsoft HPC Server 2008 clusters and OpenMP parallel/local OpenMPI parallel debugging in Mac OS X.

Optimizing Compilers target multi-core, 64-bit processors.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Nov 06, 2007 Bringing MPI debugging and profiling to Linux desktop, PGI® v7.1 provides Fortran, C, and C++ compilers and development tools that convert software programs into binary instructions that computer can understand. Best-practices software components are provided for developing parallel applications to multi-core Linux desktops, and support for OpenMP and MPI - including graphical OpenMP and MPI debugging and profiling tools - is offered in all PGI product configurations for Linux.

Compiler Software optimizes 64-bit multi-core processors.

Portland Group Inc., The    Wilsonville, OR 97070
Mar 23, 2007 Supporting Microsoft's Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications, PGI® Compiler v7.0 features full native support for OpenMP parallel programming extensions, auto-parallelization for multi-core processors, and 64-bit addressing, as well as native integrated scalar and vector SSE/SSE2/SSE3 code generation. Network installation option facilitates deployment and use of compilers on large networks incorporating systems with multiple distinct distributions of Linux OS.
