Sep 25, 2009 Made of plastic, Hot Shoe Connectors employ spring-loaded or compliant contacts, which maintain positive contact force against mating half of connector. Units tolerate mating misalignment and are often polarized, ensuring they are always correctly mated. Applications include portable equipment where separate battery modules are used, data transfer docking stations, battery charging and data communications equipment, thermal imaging cameras, and handheld scanners.

Jun 09, 2009 Available in cable-to-cable, cable-to-board, and board-to-board versions, fast-mate 101Lok Datamate Connectors require 101° turn to ensure security of retention device. Connectors use hardware tensioned by coil spring to minimize time required to mate connector halves. Spring tensioning also helps resist vibration in rugged environment applications such as aerospace.

Jan 07, 2009 Terminated as cable connector, straight plug, or panel mount product, size 12S Mil-C-5015 connector comes with aluminum chrome chain that keeps end cap firmly attached to prevent loss. Aluminum alloy end caps are ROHS-compliant and come in 2 versions, with interior or exterior thread, that make it possible screw cap into or onto connector, respectively. Also available, rubber bushings enable IP67 sealing to protect connector against water, dust, and chemical ingress.

Dec 18, 2008 Available in cable-to-cable or cable-to-board options, Datamate J-Tek Reverse Fix Connectors allow designers to consider PCB access and component selection to match. Four-finger beryllium copper contact clip ensures integrity, while jack-screw fixing provides additional security. Units offer fixing variant reversed from usual orientation, making them suited for environments with high vibration, shock, and temperature extremes.

Connectors enable secure termination by customer.

Harwin, Inc.    New Albany, IN 47151
Dec 17, 2008 With extended rear wall, Datamate male and female crimp jackscrew connectors enable customer to terminate cables themselves as alternative to over-molding. Deeper connector shell means customers can fill terminated connectors with potting material, which also resists ingress of dust and moisture. Designed to conform to BS 9525-F00033 requirements, connectors feature 4-finger beryllium copper contacts to ensure integrity of connection without loss of data.
