Closed-loop drilling system takes commands from surface to place wellbore in desired direction and inclination. Combining bottomhole assembly and drill bit, system achieves build rates of more than 15°/100 ft. Tolerant to presence of lost circulation material in mud system, AutoTrak Curve does not require special pressure drop between pipe ID and annulus to operate.

Oct 13, 2011 Installed and released prior to cement job, TORXS(TM) Expandable Liner Hanger System eliminates risk of running tools becoming fixed in place during cementing, requiring fishing or well abandonment. System enables seamless 1-trip, 2-stage hanger and packer setting for cemented liner applications. Advanced torsion capability allows casing to be worked to depth in challenging zones, and there is no need to add retarders that compromise cement formulation or extend cement pumping time.
