Feb 21, 2013 Configured in 4U 19 in. rack-mountable chassis, Models RTR 2707 and RTR 2747 offer recording and playback of RF/IF signals up to 700 MHz with signal bandwidths to 200 MHz. Systems feature 500 MHz 12-bit A/Ds or 400 MHz 14-bit A/Ds and 800 MHz 16-bit D/A. Model RTS 2707 has up to 20 hot-swappable magnetic hard drives for up to 20 TB of data storage, while Model RTR 2747 provides up to 24 hot-swap SSDs with combined capacity to 11.5 TB. Both include front panel USB ports and I/O connectors on rear panel.

Jan 23, 2013 Preconfigured with programmable 1- or 2-channel digital downconverter loaded into onboard Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA, Model 71641 is capable of digitizing one 12-bit channel at 3.6 GHz or 2 channels at 1.8 GHz. Each DDC has independent 32-bit tuning frequency programmable from DC to ƒs, where ƒs is A/D sampling frequency. In single channel mode, DDC decimation can be programmed to 8x, 16x, or 32x. In dual channel mode, both channels share same decimation rate, programmable to 4x, 8x, or 16x.

Jan 10, 2013 Used stand-alone or integrated on 3U VPX or larger carrier modules, Model 8111 series accepts 800 MHz to 3 GHz RF signals and downconverts them to 225 MHz IF signal suited for A/D conversion by signal acquisition modules. Internal frequency-synthesized local oscillator can be locked to external 10 MHz reference signal for precise tuning accuracy, or on-board 10 MHz OCXO can serve as frequency reference. Each tuner is provisioned with one of 7 different 400 MHz bandwidth preselector filters.

On-board Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA contains IP that provides turnkey waveform generation for output signal bandwidths from less than 1 kHz up to 250 MHz with extended interpolation range from 2x–1,048,576x. Module operation may also be customized by users implementing their own IP in FPGA.

Up to eight 7893 boards can be linked in cascade mode to allow 64 Onyx or Cobalt boards to receive common clock along with timing signals for synchronizing, triggering and gating functions.
