Mar 26, 2012 Suited for examination of samples where target structure is deeply buried under material layers, AURIGA« Laser combines advantages of AURIGA« CrossBeam (FIB-SEM) workstation with capabilities of pulsed micro-focus laser. Scanning laser is nanosecond pulsed, diode-pumped, solid-state laser operating at 355 nm. Retrieving target structure is achieved automatically, and laser is equipped with CAD software controlling scanner head to realize specific ablation patterns.

Mar 20, 2012 Using confocal laser scanning or multiphoton microscope, plan-apochromatic 20x/1.0 VIS-IR Objective Lens makes it possible to acquire 3D images of nerve cells down to depths of 5.6 mm in intact tissue. This permits visualization of branches of nerve cells and imaging of connections. Lens has been redesigned for clearing method known as Scale. Water-based reagent transforms sheath substance of nerve cells into transparent matrix without impairing signals from fluorescent marker and tracer substances.

Sep 17, 2010 Featuring modular design, Colibri Illumination System employs up to 4 LEDs, each individually and instantly controlled by electrical current without mechanical switching devices. LEDs of different colors can be used in combination, giving users option of seeing multiple fluorochromes simultaneously or rapidly capturing sequential images of each fluorochrome. Intensity of each LED module can be adjusted in percentage steps, enabling equidistant multichannel images to be realized in time-lapse-series.

Aug 24, 2009 Available with 3 fluorescence attachments, Primo Star iLED Microscope enables users to work with different dyes such as FITC, Dapi, and Rhodamine/Cy 3, making it suited for training, routine procedures, and basic research. For training in particular, fluorescence excitation through LED illumination is beneficial as there are no warm-up or cool-down times. Excitation lamps do not need to be readjusted, enabling user to start working as soon as light source is turned on.

Coating lets water bead off lens without residue and facilitates cleaning. Contact angle of over 110║ ensures water droplet retains its spherical shape and beads off surface with optimum efficiency. Also, dielectric mirror coatings on Schmidt-Pechan prisms optimize transmission.
