Vacuum Breakers relieve undesirable vacuum state.

Spence Engineering Co., Inc.    Walden, NY 12586-0230
Sep 05, 2008 Able to be used on steam or liquid applications, Vacu-Break devices promote system efficiency by allowing it to operate correctly and preventing potential equipment damage. Maintenance-free product, available in 1/8, ½, and ¾ in. versions, has brass body and is designed for pressures to 125 psi and temperatures to +350°F. Available as option on certain Spence steam traps, product has cracking pressure of .36 psi.

Steam Trap Valve Station is available in left-handed version.

Spence Engineering Co., Inc.    Walden, NY 12586-0230
Sep 05, 2008 Big-Block Universal Mount Valve Station allows flexibility in installation and maintenance with access for testing and blowdown. It includes 2 isolation valves; integral strainer, blowdown valve, and test port; 304L SS body; adjustable grafoil packing; and universal, 2-bolt swivel trap mount that installs permanently and accommodates thermostatic, inverted bucket, and thermodynamic style traps. System withstands pressures to 1,440 psi and temperatures to 750°F.

Free-Float Operated Valves drain liquid and vent air.

Spence Engineering Co., Inc.    Walden, NY 12586-0230
Apr 03, 2007 While Drainer NLD Series removes liquids from pressurized air or gas systems, Venter NAV Series removes air and other gases from pressurized liquid systems. Both provide automatic, positive shutoff and proper seating under all operating conditions and instantly adjust to variations in flow and pressure. Offered in ½ x ½ in. and ¾ x ½ in. sizes with NPT connections, corrosion- and freeze-resistant valves are rated for pressures to 400 psig and temperatures to 500°F.

Oct 20, 2006 Offered in cast iron or cast steel, in 3/8 to 12 in. sizes, for pressures to 600 psig and temperatures to 750°F, Type ED pilot-operated pressure regulator controls operations within ±1 psig of set pressure. Construction features include balancing to accommodate high turn down, liquid, and low differential service. Self contained, spring operated, side, or integrally mounted pressure, air, and temperature pilots are available as standard.

Three-Way Control Valves range from 1/2-4 in.

Spence Engineering Co., Inc.    Walden, NY 12586-0230
Mar 02, 2006 Accepting 3-15 lb air signal, pneumatically actuated Kombat K3 features 36 or 60 sq-in. actuator with spring-loaded packing assembly to minimize deadband. Kombat K7 features rapid-stroke, electric actuator that accepts 0-10 Vdc, 4-20 mA, or 0-135 Ohm signals. Both 3-way control valves have bronze ANSI 250 globe bodies with galvanized union ends and all stainless steel trim. Valves are suited for commercial, HVAC, and light industrial applications.

Sep 21, 2005 Offered in 2-8 in. sizes for pressures to 1,550 psig and temperatures to 800°F, cage guided DigiBoss features cast iron, carbon steel, or chrome moly body and NPT, RF, or DIN flanged connections. Electric actuator operates with analog signals 4-20 mA, 0-10 Vdc, or Profibus DP. Stall-proof motor provides positive positioning, prevents burnout, and permits shutoff up to 750 psi. DigiBoss is suited for modulating control and on/off applications.

Safety Relief Valve has –423°F to +422°F operating temp.

Spence Engineering Co., Inc.    Walden, NY 12586-0230
Feb 01, 2005 Safety Relief Valves are available in cast iron, bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum in sizes from ½ x ¾ in. to 6 x 8 in., for pressures up to 900 psig. Rugged construction and dual ring control provide dependable pop action, seat tightness, and repeatability. Valves meet ASME Sections I, IV, and VIII, API 527, and are also PED and TUV certified. Applications include steam boilers, pressure reducing stations, pumps, tanks, and cryogenic systems.

Temperature Regulator suits most process applications.

Spence Engineering Co., Inc.    Walden, NY 12586-0230
Aug 17, 2004 Pilot-operated, Type EDT14 consists of Type E Main Valve and T14 vapor tension temperature pilot. Valve is available in cast iron or cast steel, in sizes 3/8-12 in. for pressures to 600 psig at 750°F. Thermostatically-controlled, spring-operated temperature pilot controls temperatures from 20-500°F, opening and closing on a few degrees change at thermostat bulb. Self-operated regulator is not affected by power outages.
