Epoxy Adhesives bond and seal food processing equipment.

Permabond    Somerset, NJ 08873
Apr 30, 2013 Manufactured in compliance with FDA CFR 175.105 and 175.300, two-component Epoxy Adhesives offer shock and impact resistance coupled with environmental and temperature resistance. Range cures at room temperature or can be heated for faster cure. Available in various viscosities, gap filling capabilities, and working times, adhesives are suitable for food contact applications, including bonding filter components and bonding and sealing appliances and food handling equipment.
Bonding Adhesives bond all types of composite materials.

Apr 26, 2013 Composite Bonding Adhesives include single- and 2-part epoxy adhesives designed for use on substrates such as GRP, FRP, and carbon fiber as well as variety of metal and plastic surfaces. Modified Epoxy hybrid technology, also included in range, offers soft and flexible bonds with high elongation and peel strength. Low shrinkage characteristics make them suitable for bonding thin gauge composites or metal skins which may be affected by witness marks/print through with regular adhesives.
Epoxy Adhesive survives in continuous temperatures to 285°F.

Aug 08, 2012 Developed to bond engineering materials such as composites, thermoplastics, metals, and ceramic materials, Permabond ET5401 can survive 285°F continuously while maintaining its performance characteristics. Exposure to higher temperatures for short periods is possible, providing adhesive is not overly stressed. Exposure to 175°F for 1 hr increases adhesive strength and long-term structural performance. Structural epoxy adhesive is suited for bonding dissimilar materials.
Magnet Bonding Adhesive is non-corrosive.

Permabond    Somerset, NJ 08873
Feb 09, 2010 When used with Initiator 43, non-corrosive bonding agent TA459 suits assembly of copper and other electrically conductive surfaces to magnets in enclosed motors. High viscosity gel achieves 50% full strength after 15 min, increasing line speeds and reducing part rejection rates. TA459 forms bonds to variety of plated and non-plated surfaces.

Sep 03, 2009 Able to support structural load when fully cured, Permabond TA4810 and TA4820 withstand stresses of bonding plastics to metal by absorbing stresses of expansion and contraction of substrates with varying coefficients of thermal expansion. Two-component methacrylate-based adhesives feature thixotropic, non-sag properties, which allow dispensing on unlevel or vertical surfaces. Permabond TA4810 can achieve fixture strength in 10 min, while Permabond TA4820 reaches fixture strength in 30 min.

Jun 18, 2009 Exhibiting accelerated cure on acidic and porous surfaces, PermabondŽ 791 surface insensitive cyanoacrylate meets specifications for Commercial Standard A-A-3097 Type II Class 1. This low-viscosity (30-50 cP) engineering adhesive, with max gap fill of 0.004 in., has shear strength value of 2,900 psi and service temperature range of -65 to +180°F. Properties are suited for applications involving close-fitting components.

Apr 30, 2009 Appropriate for all Permabond cyanoacrylate adhesives, Permabond CSA-NF speeds cure on very dry or acidic surfaces and on porous surfaces to cause cure prior to adhesive wicking into substrate. It can also quicken surface cure to clear non-tacky finish with no white residue. Since Permabond CSA-NF is non-flammable, it eliminates shipping and safety concerns related to flammable solvents.

May 15, 2007 Suited for bonding applications that involve impact, peel, and flexing stresses, Permabond 731 and Permabond 735 single component, instant cyanoacrylate adhesives can adhere rapidly to variety of surfaces including aluminum, steel, plastics, and rubbers. Permabond 735 is opaque black in appearance, while Permabond 731 is crystal clear.

Mar 03, 2006 Formulated to remain soft and flexible, GasketmakerŽ LH197 is easily removed in applications that require regular disassembly or that involve soft metals. It provides complete surface contact, filling in irregularities in metal and eliminating potential leak paths. Forming instant, leak-free seal, product allows approximately 5 min of adjustment after assembly. After complete room temperature cure, resulting seal is resistant to pressures up to 5,000 psi.

Jul 11, 2005 Resistant to harsh environmental conditions, chemicals, and water, adhesive range includes clear, non-yellowing epoxy as well as flexible grade with peel-strength that allows flexibility of joint design while maintaining performance. Products come in dispensing cartridges with mixing nozzles and have 1:1 mix ratio of resin and hardener. They are suited for bonding, sealing, encapsulating, and repairing plastics, metal, composites, ceramics, and wood.
