Crystal Units offer optimized frequency tolerance.

Crystal Units offer optimized frequency tolerance.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Aug 04, 2014 With frequency tolerance of ±20 ppm at +25°C, and frequency shift by temperature of ±20 ppm max from -30 to +85°C, XRCGB-F-P Series is suitable for use in 802.1 wireless connectivity designs using protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy and ZigBee. Units are constructed in 2016 package, making them ideal candidates for second sourcing.
SMD Piezoelectric Sounder suits portable health care devices.

SMD Piezoelectric Sounder suits portable health care devices.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Jun 27, 2014 Sound pressure level output, measured 10 cm from PKMCS0909E4000-R1, is >65 dB when driven with ±1.5 V, 4 kHz square wave. Max peak-to-peak voltage is ±12.5 V, and power consumption is 0.6 mW typ. Latter helps preserve battery life in consumer electronic devices. Measuring 9 x 9 x 1.7 mm and weighing 160 mg, sounder does not use any magnets or coils to create sound. This eliminates generation of electrical noise and minimizes impact on surrounding circuitry.
Three-Phase PFC and DC/DC Converter enhances data center efficacy.

Three-Phase PFC and DC/DC Converter enhances data center efficacy.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Jun 04, 2014 Operating from 3-phase, 480 Vac input, 5 kW PFC converter (MPA9535) provides 380 Vdc output and ensures PFC is as close as possible to unity. Power conversion efficiency is up to 96% typ. Fed directly from MPA9535, matching high input voltage 1,200 Watt DC-DC converter (MPA9512) has 2 DC outputs: 12.12 Vdc (main) and +5 Vdc (standby). This stage of power conversion achieves efficiency of 95.2% typ. Occupying combined 4U footprint, 2 units are designed for use in 19-inch server racks.

HF-Band RFID Tag targets smart device market.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Apr 17, 2014 Measuring 3.2 x 3.2 x 0.7 mm, Model LXMS33HCNK-167 operates in 13.56 MHz band, is fully ISO14443 compliant, and can be used with any reader-writer combination that conforms to same standard. Antenna is embedded directly into multi-layer substrate, allowing tag to be extremely small. When used with 200 mW reader-writer, read range is typically 15 mm. Resistant to harsh environmental conditions, tag is suited for object tracking, certification, and authentication applications.
UHF RFID Device features wired I2C interface.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Apr 08, 2014 Operating in 900 MHz frequency band, Model LXMS2HACNF-165 conforms to ISO/IEC 18000-6C and EPC global C1G2 standards. Addition of I2C interface means that data of IC mounted on customer’s equipment and connected to it can be read using UHF RFID-Reader/Writer. Likewise, data in RFID device can be read by IC. Potential applications include management of memory settings of consumer appliances prior to shipping, holding appliance error log data, and recording environmental data.
Ultrasonic Sensor has compact, surface mount design.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Mar 18, 2014 Measuring 5.2 x 5.2 x 1.15 mm, MA40H1S-R series can deliver up to 100 dB sound pressure at 40 kHz. Operating voltage is 6 Vp-p, and sensor has -6 dB full angle beam of 80°. Structural design, including ceramic element, minimizes required mounting space. Typical areas of use include distance measurement, position detection, and 3D gesture detection applications in portable equipment.

DC-DC Converter Module suits FPGA and embedded applications.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Jan 17, 2014 Consisting of non-isolated buck converter without PWM controller, Power Block OKLP-X/35-W12-C measures 25.4 x 12.7 x 11.1 mm and has typ efficiency rating of 94%. Input voltage is 12 Vdc nominal and can accommodate range of 7–13.2 Vdc. Single package solution incorporates all power handling components, fully tested and characterized for thermal and dynamic performance. When coupled with ZMDI's ZSPM1035 single-phase digital PWM IC controller, unit offers 35 A point-of-load solution.
Surface Mount Piezoelectric Buzzer measures 9 x 9 x 1.9 mm.

Surface Mount Piezoelectric Buzzer measures 9 x 9 x 1.9 mm.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Jan 13, 2014 Able to fully withstand reflow soldering without any negative effect regarding its performance, PKMCS0909E4000-R1 produces loudness of 65 dB min at 4 kHz with drive voltage of ±1.5 Vo-p. Louder sound output is possible with higher drive voltage. Product is suited for battery-powered devices requiring audible user feedback, such as digital thermometers, blood sugar meters, and wall- or remote-mounted smart devices.

Hybrid Crystal Resonators target automotive applications.

Murata Electronics North America, Inc.    Smyrna, GA 30080
Jan 13, 2014 Made of 100% quartz crystal, XRCHA Series features frequency precision of ±250 ppm, nominal operating frequencies from 12–24 MHz, and operating temperature of -40 to +125°C.
