RF Transceiver supports China's unlicensed frequency bands.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
May 17, 2013 Suitable for use in unlicensed frequency bands ranging from 779–965 MHz, Model ZL70251 targets short-range wireless sensor products in industrial applications. Unit is fully functional over industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C, while still delivering peak power at 2 mA in both transmit and receive modes. Supplied in 3 x 2 mm chip scale package, ultra low power device requires only 2 external components, making it suitable for products with space constraints.

Isolated DC/DC Converters have SMT, radiation-hardened design.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
May 09, 2013 Suited for aerospace applications, SB30-100 series provides SEE-rated protection – 100 kRad (Si) TID – against total dose ionized radiation. Features include ability to directly convert power from satellite solar panel to end voltages required by FPGAs, DSPs, CPUs, MCUs, and other digital devices. Designed and constructed using SMT, converters provide 3 independent isolated outputs, typically at +5.0, +3.3 and +2.5 V at 30 W total, each of which is adjustable to ±10% and has its own PWM.

Clock Generators offer low jitter and power consumption.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Apr 11, 2013 Intended for communications equipment, enterprise routers/switches, SAN equipment, and servers, dual-channel ZL30240 and single-channel ZL30241 generate output clocks with jitter as low as 0.27 psec (rms). Both consume <300 mW per channel and feature numerically controlled oscillators that can generate any frequency with fine tunability of 0.1 ppb. Products also feature 2–4 independently programmable outputs with support for multiple frequencies (up to 940 MHz) and multiple signal formats.

High-Temp Flash Memory withstands oil/gas drilling conditions.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Mar 29, 2013 Addressing challenges to drilling equipment microelectronics, high-temperature NOR flash products meet environmental demands of oil and gas industry downhole drilling where temperatures reach 150°C and higher. Products come in 1, 4, and 16 Mb densities and withstand temperature, shock, and vibration encountered by equipment thousands of feet below surface. Package options include hermetic ceramic dual inline, small outline J-lead, flatpacks, ceramic quad flat pack, and pin grid array.

Non-Punch Through IGBTs serve high-performance applications.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Mar 21, 2013 With 25, 50, and 70 A current ratings, 1,200 V non-punch through (NPT) IGBTs are based on Power MOS 8™ technology and can be packaged with Microsemi FREDs or silicon carbide Schottky diodes. Gate charge promotes accelerated switching, while hard switching operation greater than 80 kHz lends to power conversion efficiency. SMT backside solderable D(3) package option is available for these Short Circuit Withstand Time Rated (SCWT) products.
DLA-Qualified Schottky Diodes suit aerospace/defense applications.

DLA-Qualified Schottky Diodes suit aerospace/defense applications.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Mar 14, 2013 Offered in Thinkey™ package that features ceramic and metal construction with no wire bonds, U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)-qualified Schottky diodes offer typical heat dissipation from 0.2 to 0.85°C/W and enable double-side cooling. Soft solder is not used in construction, and 15, 30, and 45 V ratings are available. Series includes 1N6910UTK2–1N6912UTK2 (25 A) and 1N6940UTK3–1N6942UTK3 (150 A), with anode to strap (AS) or cathode to strap (CS) polarity.

Monolithic Translator integrates 4 DPLLs for 100G muxponders.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Feb 11, 2013 Intended for OTN transport and switching applications, ZL30165 Line Card Device integrates 4 DPLLs capable of locking on up to 10 inputs, targeting muxponder applications that support multi-client transport on single wavelength. Each channel accepts and generates any frequency from 1 KHz to 750 MHz to support any communication service over optical networks. Operating from crystal resonator or clock oscillator, translator supports 8 input references configurable as single ended or differential.

Starter Kit offers prototyping platform for SoC FPGAs.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Feb 06, 2013 Available on Emcraft Systems 34 x 59 mm mezzanine form factor system-on-module, which connects to SOM-BSB-EXT baseboard, SmartFusion®2 Starter Kit includes FlashPro4 programming and supports Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, and UART interfaces. USB-powered system has breadboard area for GPIO or FPGA I/O connection, 64 MB LPDDR, 16 MB SPI flash, and 2 user-controlled LEDs connected to GPIO on SOM. By using included USB WiFi adapter, kit supports RaLink 5370 USB wireless radios.

Front-End PD IC (95 W) complies with Power-over-HDBaseT.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Dec 21, 2012 Supplied in Pb-free DFN-16 package, PD70210 front-end power device (PD) IC with built-in synchronous current mode PWM controller (PD70211) is intended for high-power HDBase-T and 4-pair PoE applications. IC can receive up to 95 W using internal FET, complies with IEEE802.3af/at and HDBaseT standards, and fosters adoption of PoE communications in such applications as outdoor IP cameras, small cells, thin clients, and monitors.

Fan-Out Buffers support clock rates up to 750 MHz.

Microsemi    Irvine, CA 92614
Dec 11, 2012 Available in 28 models, ZL402 Series Clock Distribution Differential Fan-out Buffers offer multiple fan-out ratios and support 2 types of outputs: low voltage positive emitter coupled logic and low voltage differential signaling. Internal and external terminations for inputs eliminate need for external peripheral components. In addition, buffers combine low additive jitter with optimized power supply noise rejection performance, preserving signal integrity.
