Sep 18, 2013 Using 6-axis Fanuc LR Mate 200iC robot, Model RB-600 repeats programmed surface preparation routines on individual components and automatically processes full tray of parts. Articulated arm, mounted upside down on engineered structure under roof of grit-blasting chamber, is fitted with pneumatically actuated gripper and tailored suit of laminated fabric. Robotic motion programs and blast processing recipes for 50+ different components can be stored for instantaneous recall.

Jun 04, 2013 Incorporating 6-axis Fanuc M-20iA robot rigidly mounted on pedestal inside 60 x 96 in. rotary table blasting cabinet, Robotic Grit-Blast System  automatically changes between blasting tools to perform critical surface preparation work around exterior of complex-shaped components, as well as recesses and interior surfaces of parts. Turntable, bearing interchangeable component-holding fixture, is servomotor driven and controlled as seventh axis of coordinated robotic motion.

May 16, 2013 Incorporating robot nozzle manipulator and 2 auxiliary axes of coordinated robotic motion of its servomotor-driven spindles, RB-RXS-400 suits work cell finishing and surface preparation operations with capability to be loaded/unloaded via robot. Six-axis Fanuc M-10iA robot, mounted on pedestal at rear of 46 x 42 in. blast cabinet, is fitted with protective suit of laminated fabric. EOAT includes blow-off nozzles for post-blast air wash cycle; pressure-blast media delivery is optional.

Jan 21, 2013 Featuring 54 x 46 x 42 in. blast process chamber, 7-axis Model RB-RSSA-8 is configured for precision roughening of component surfaces in production thermal spray coating cell. Single pressure-blast nozzle is fed by 3.5 ft³ capacity, ASME-certified pressure vessel and blast nozzle motion is provided by Fanuc M-10iA robot. Fitted with jawed chuck or T-slotted turntable, spindle can be controlled to turn clockwise and counterclockwise, and offers rotation at speeds adjustable from 0–300 rpm.

Dec 14, 2012 Intended for surface preparation applications in aerospace industry, Model RB-72 utilizes Fanuc M-20iA robot as blast nozzle manipulator. Hollow arm of 6-axis robot allows blast hose to be routed directly through it. Powered turntable, measuring 36 in. in diameter, has 1,000 lb weight capacity. Servomotor-driven table is controlled as seventh axis of coordinated robotic motion to exactly orient components that are fixtured on it. T-slots facilitate positioning of interchangeable fixtures.

Robotic blast system has 36 in. dia, 500 lb capacity rotary table; 48 x 48 x 48 in. glass bead peening cabinet with 500 lb capacity, roof-mounted jib crane; and graphical touchscreen HMI.

Cabinet features 12 ft. track extensions with powered transfer cart and 1,000 kg mounted servomotor-driven turntable. The 84 in. diameter table, T-slots, and quick-change fixture enable processing of variety of parts. Two blast pots feed two pressure-blast nozzles for separate surface preparation.

Six-axis robot is mounted on rigidly welded pedestal attached to rear of blasting cabinet. System's 24 in. dia turntable is servomotor driven and controlled as auxiliary axis of robotic motion. To maintain negative pressure in blasting enclosure and balance air flow for media reclamation, system uses reverse pulsing cartridge-type dust collector with 1,000 cfm extraction capacity.

In addition to safety interlocks on all doors, features include stainless steel shot collection, cyclone media reclaimer, and dust collector.
