Portable Memory Tokens operate in harsh environments.

Datakey Electronics Inc.    Savage, MN 55378
Apr 01, 2011 Constructed using solid over-molding process, RUGGEDrive(TM) Memory Tokens withstand extreme temperatures, sterilization, chemical exposure, static electricity, dirt, moisture, shock, and vibration. Embedded units only interface with Datakey mating receptacles, which prevents data from being transferred to unauthorized PCs that lack RUGGEDrive receptacles. Supplied with 4 GB of non-volatile memory, UFX model provides USB flash drive functionality, while DFX model provides SD card functionality.
Memory Token survives gamma radiation with no loss of data.

Oct 22, 2010 With GammaSafe(TM) Memory Token system, medical device manufacturers can add anti-counterfeit and limit-use capabilities to disposable attachments that are sterilized using gamma radiation up to 4.5 Mrad. Model SGT4Kb contains 4 Kb of non-volatile, re-writable memory, which is accessed using SPI bus. Available as option, indicator on front side of token changes color after gamma sterilization. Receptacles that accept memory token are available in through-hole, surface-mount, and panel mount models.

Portable Data Carrier System features IP67 immersion rating.

Jun 17, 2009 Consisting of memory Token and mating Receptacle, Bar Series meets MIL-STD-810F specifications, has operating range of -40 to +85°C, and offers ESD protection greater than 15 kV. Bar Token uses serial EEPROM with SPI, I2C, and Microwire serial interface options and memory sizes from 1-246 Kb. With footprint of 0.82 in.², Bar Receptacle features retention pin that provides tactile feedback when Token is fully inserted, and helps keep Token firmly in place during operation.

Apr 15, 2009 SlimLine(TM) SR4410 Token Receptacles are behind-mount devices that combine gasket for sealing with built-in mechanism for overtighten protection. They include detent mechanism that gives users tactile confirmation when inserted token is physically engaged, as well as Last-On/First-Off contact for token detection and self-cleansing capability. Units are available in IP-65, IP-67, and IP-67 with reduced EMI versions and with memory capacities from 1 KB to 1 GB.

Nov 20, 2007 Offered as complete off-the-shelf portable memory system for harsh environments, SR4310 receptacles are available in IP66 (splash-proof), IP67 (immersion-rated), and IP67-EMI (immersion-rated, EMI reduction) versions. Each utilizes 50,000 cycle contact system and offers 4 industry-standard interface options. Available with memory capacities from 1 KB to 1 GB, panel-mount devices feature over-tighten protection, molded-in threaded inserts, and self-wiping contacts.

Reader/Writers program SPI-Flash keys and tokens.

Datakey Electronics Inc.    Savage, MN 55378
Mar 13, 2007 With typ write speeds of 1.2 Mbps, KeyLink(TM) III and SlimLink(TM) III are designed to optimize throughput when used with 1-32 Mbit SPI-flash memory keys and tokens. Products can also be used to read/write unique indentifier keys and tokens, allowing OEM designers to implement copy-proof data carrier applications. In addition to proprietary serial flash products, readers also support interchangeable use of all company's standard serial EEPROM products.

Data Transport Devices can store 128 Mb to 1 Gb of data.

Datakey Electronics Inc.    Savage, MN 55378
May 04, 2006 Optimized for use in OEM systems controlled by embedded microprocessors, NFX-series Managed-Memory(TM) Tokens are used to transport data to and from non-networked electronics. They provide SPI interface for direct connection to microprocessors and USB electrical interface to facilitate connection to PCs. All interfaces are configuration-controlled for each OEM program, assuring long-term availability and eliminating need for in field update of OEM equipment.

Aug 05, 2005 Compatible with company's Keyceptacles® and Receptacles, 32 Mbit (4 MByte) serial flash memory Key (SFK32Mbit) and SlimLine(TM) Extended Token (SFX32Mbit) feature solid molded construction with wear-resistant exterior. Memory is accessed by SPI-compatible bus with up to 25 MHz clock rate. Due to memory size and bus speed, products let designers of microprocessor-controlled systems move data in and out of systems without requiring network connection.

Portable Memory Tokens target medical device applications.

Datakey Electronics Inc.    Savage, MN 55378
Jun 03, 2005 SlimLine(TM) Tokens withstand EtO sterilization process as well as autoclave sterilization at 265° for 30 min. Typical applications include limit-use, calibration data upload, firmware updates, data transfer, data logging, user authentication, and access control. Mating SlimLine SR4000 Token Receptacles include both miniaturized units and surface-mount designs suitable for portable medical applications.
